It's been so fun to put our offerings together into one place! We will be tabling at the RAD market today (5/27) and the West Asheville Tailgate Market (7/7). Stay tuned for more updates (New Monthly Makers Market, U-Pick flowers with Shell Belle Blooms, Creative Solstice Party with Cara Helene and the Community Skillshare, and the fall Mother Tree Permaculture PDC course, and the Hooves & Harvest Scholarship Fun!). We are so excited to see how the Ranch is growing.

🌈Join our ranch family! We are committed to an inclusive, safe, fun, nature-based experience for our kids (and adults) and have a few spots left for select weeks.

Art, music, gardening, harvesting, crafts, horse care, riding with Molly’s Riding School, horsemanship, meals together, creek time, cooking, singing, farm exploration, all with caring, safety-conscious adults present at all times.

Need a Moment of Zen? This is one of my favorites - the top of the pasture at Ruby Ranch.

If you’re looking for more time on the Land with like-hearted folks, learning the kinds of earth skills that help you feel capable and resilient in these chaotic times, then we invite you to check out our Community Supported Skill-share Membership.

Each month, our members will get a hands-on earth skill class, study guide, and resources to use at home. This month is Kitchen Gardening in containers and raised beds! (Everyone goes home with seeds and a plant).

Don’t have a way to garden at home? No problem! Membership includes communal tending and harvesting of the Ranch garden so you can enjoy fresh produce you’ve grown with your heart and hands.

If you’re looking for kindred spirits, nature connection, and community, then you’ll love that Dirt Church, monthly community potlucks, and learn & work days are included! The Ranch is also a family-friendly place, so kids are welcome.

Are you’re ready to try your hand at canning, medicine making, or kudzu basket weaving but don’t know where to start? Then you’ll love our community workshop Make & Take days that members only pay for supplies (the public can join at the full class fee).

Members will also get first peeks at signing up for our Heart-full Community events (movie nights, campfire dinners) and a free pass when we host our creekside camping gatherings.

And right now we’re welcoming our Founding Members, who get to help shape and choose which workshops and skills they most want to learn so we’ll can tailor our seasonal journey to the community.

We just keep adding opportunities to gather, learn, grow and now stretch! We just added our weekly Saturday morning yoga class by the creek, donation based, with Emma Lee! Class happens in the field at the bend of Upper Hominy Creek at the Ranch, 10-11:30. Watermelon juice and an optional cold plunge after class. And stay tuned as we continue to announce more offerings...movie nights in the barn and family camp outs coming soon!

Join Emma on Saturday mornings for yoga by the creek! Emma teaches hatha yoga, a specific sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. She’s been teaching since 2013 and practicing since 2007. It is her passion and gift to share with others. Expect to sweat, especially as the morning warms u

Something we've been dreaming about at Ruby Ranch is finally here! 🌱

We're launching our Community Supported Skill-share — a year-round membership for locals to gather monthly to learn practical earth skills, share meals, and build the kind of community that truly sustains people. Think growing food, preserving the harvest, herbalism, fermentation, and more, all rooted right here on the land.

I'm Cara Helene, Community Director here at the Ranch and your Dirt Church host. Tending a community like this has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I'm genuinely giddy that it's finally happening.

The Skill-share works like a veggie CSA: your membership invests directly in shaping the program around what this community wants to learn, grow, and experience together. The more people who join, the richer it gets for everyone.

You can also participate in collectively tending and harvesting from the Ranch community garden together, which means there's room for the big sprawling things — pumpkins, watermelons, and veggies that love full sun. ☀️

Our first members-only workshop and potluck is May 17th, and we're starting with kitchen gardens, raised beds, and containers. Every founding member gets to take home seeds from our Ranch seed library and choose a plant to bring home.

Founding member household rates start at $65/month and your whole family is welcome (but please leave your pets at home).
