Living the high life is an understatement for WHR Kit Kat! 🐄 Since retiring from shows, she's been enjoying the green pastures and comfy hay piles, awaiting her most important role yet – becoming a mama in the next month! 🍼 Last week, we measured this queen, and she's rocking a 77-inch tip-to-tip measurement with a total horn length of 83 1/4 inches. And guess what? She's not even three until July 14! 🎉

Last weekend at the Cherry Blossom Sale and Futurity in Culpeper, VA, was truly unforgettable! But the real surprise came while we were away – a beautiful heifer calf was born! This is the first calf of the year, but what makes her extra special is that when I bought her mother, she wasn't even supposed to be pregnant! Talk about a plot twist! What a way to start the season! 🌸🐮

We had an unforgettable weekend at the Cherry Blossom Sale and Futurity in Culpeper, Virginia! Our heifer, WHR Country Sprinkles, took first place in her class, and after some thought, we decided to offer her at the sale. It was a bittersweet moment, as it was the first heifer I've ever sold at a sale, and I've put so much into her. A huge thank you to everyone involved in organizing this weekends events and a special thanks to Travis Johnson, the Brightman family, and Dan Huntington for purchasing WHR Country Sprinkles. This was a weekend I'll never forget!

Folks we have some weather coming up that looks like a perfect time dust off that grill! If you’re getting the itch for some grilling we have plenty of ground beef and brisket patties for your favorite burgers! Or if you’re in the mood for a steak we have lots of delmonicos and boneless strip steaks! Also theirs a few hearty sirloins and a couple tri tips! Let us kno if theirs anything you would like! (And yes these are our actual steaks and burgers!)

Finally a much needed break from the cold, wind and snow. Normally the cows eat inside during the winter but I figured today would be a perfect day to put a bale in the pasture and let them get out and stretch their legs!

Santa showed up a couple days early this year and look what he brought us! A 2023 John Deere 317G! None of this would be possible without our dedicated customers and the love and support from our friends and family. We are blessed to have you guys! Merry Christmas folks and happy new year!!
