Cherryfield residents - Come out TONITE... This meeting is because our taxes (most if not all of us) have gone up an incredibly unfair amount for one year. Some of us have been finding mistakes on the valuation form (you can get it from town hall) which says what we are taxed on. Some people are being taxed on things like porches and heat pumps they don't have etc. But what else could make them rise so high?

Join the residents TONITE in hearing some uddates and answers and how we can talk to the assessor (appts still available) and how the town is trying to help (like getting a lawyer to advise).

Help us sell our Cabbage! We need to harvest the last of the green cabbage asap but we don't have enough fridge space to store them. Text Gina to order for pickup in Cherryfield (516-924-1243) or SHARE this so it reached the community who may really love cabbage :) GREAT for sauerkraut and the head itself stores for a while in the fridge, even after chopping some pieces off. We love to throw them in soups or sautees! If you have back-up fridge space, consider stocking up for a few months!

Attention all kraut makers! We grew some incredible storage Cabbage this year that is great for making ferments. In the right environment like a root cellar they can also store for a few months. Wont be pressing c***r this week unfortunately.. Have to do my truck breaks which is fine. Gives more time for apples to sweeten up for next week.
