The mystery breed joining Walter Ray’s Rabbitry is… DUTCH RABBITS! 🖤🤍

I've been keeping this little secret for a couple of months, and I'm so excited to finally share the news with everyone now that my Dutch have made it home!

This is an exciting new chapter for my rabbitry as I've officially made the transition from New Zealands to Dutch rabbits! My Holland Lops are still very much part of the rabbitry, too. ❤️

A new breed and an exciting new chapter ahead!

Mocha is my little Solid Chocolate Otter boy, and he’s growing right along with his littermates. It’s always fun reaching this stage and getting to watch each kit start to look a little more like their own individual selves.

Four weeks with little Marmalade!
This Broken Orange boy is getting bigger every day! It feels like just yesterday these little ones were tiny newborns tucked away in the nest. Now they’re growing and changing week by week. 🐰

Broken Chocolate Otter
🤎 Chocolate Chip is 4 weeks old!
This little Broken Chocolate Otter boy is growing up before I know it! His markings make him fun to watch as he gets bigger, and I’m excited to see how he continues to develop over the coming weeks. 🐰

🐰 Holland Lop Doe

This Solid Black Tort girl from Honey × Rolo is growing into a pretty young doe!

She does have white toenails, which are a DQ under the ARBA Holland Lop standard, so she is not a show prospect.

Would make a nice pet, 4-H/FFA project, or brood doe depending on your goals and local rules.

A few of you have been trying to guess which breed I've been talking about, so I thought I'd share one last hint before the reveal!

This breed is known for its distinctive markings, but I'm keeping the rest a secret for just a little longer. 😊

Holland Lop Girls — Growing Up!

These two Solid Black Tort sisters are now 3 months, 1 week, 4 days old and have really grown into some pretty girls!

They are Honey × Rolo daughters, and it's been fun watching them develop.

Both have white toenails, which are a DQ under the ARBA Holland Lop standard, so they are not show prospects. They may be suited for pets, 4-H/FFA projects, or brood homes depending on the goals and local rules.
