We have some VERY exciting news!

We’re excited to announce two upcoming Holland Lop litters!

Twix × Rolo

Twix — Broken Chocolate Otter
Rolo — Solid Black Tort

This pairing has us especially excited to see what colors and patterns these two produce. We’re looking forward to seeing what these babies bring to the nest box.

Caramella × Rolo

Caramella — Broken Orange
Rolo — Solid Black Tort

This is another pairing we’re very excited about, especially as Caramella continues her journey as part of our breeding program. We can’t wait to see what this pairing produces!

Looking for some breed suggestions!
I'm thinking ahead about possibly adding a second breed to Walter Ray's Rabbitry sometime in the future. I'm not making any decisions right now, just curious what breeds other rabbit breeders/show people think might be a good fit.
I'm mainly looking for something that is smaller and easier for me to handle as an adult than my New Zealands, but still has good growth and enough body to serve a similar practical purpose. I'd also like something that has a good pet market, ARBA show/pedigree potential, and preferably some fun varieties/colors to work with.
Some I've been considering so far are Dutch, Polish, Silver, and Silver Fox, but I'm definitely open to other breeds that might fit what I'm looking for.
If you were looking for something to fill a similar role to a New Zealand but in a more manageable-sized rabbit, what breed would you recommend and why?
I'm especially interested in hearing from people who actually raise or show the breed. 😊
Again, this is just me researching for the future. I may or may not ever add another breed.
