To say we need some rain around here is no surprise. Even those whose livelihoods do not rely on the weather have noticed the changes. Grass is dying off, everything is dusty, what happened to spring showers? We haven’t had a good rain that amounted to anything in weeks…months maybe. It’s so long we can’t even remember. The cloud that follows any equipment we take across the field is so sad. There is so much corn and soybean seed in the ground just waiting for a good long drink to jump up out.
There are showers out there but every hour we go, the weather man pulls back on how much and when/if it gets to us.
Please lord let a little rain come down and nourish our crops!
