A Farmer’s Market Feature Dinner!

A little greens and beans soup, beet orange and mint salad, with some hearty sourdough for dunking.

Beets (greens included): Vampire Garlic
Bread: Bread too.

And our own spring garlic and spearmint! Honorable mention to the stock made from our freezer scrap bag.

Life lately…

Late spring - early summer can be the craziest of times for vegetable growers. We’re planting after frost, grabbing our first harvests for market, and spending some time questioning why we started in the first place. We’re still so green with so much to learn.

Sometimes we have to take a step back to enjoy watching our farm transform and appreciate the food we’re able to provide to our neighbors - that’s what keeps us rooted.

We had a really great day at the Schoharie County Farmers Market opening day!
