After a long drive picking up items in both schoharie and Otsego counties, I am happy to announce I am back at the farm. I will be making bouquets for the shoppe now, and wanted to let you all know that this is the LAST WEEK FOR EGG EVERYTHING 😭😭😭 . That being said, I plan on doing a stock up to freeze for my own personal eating, but I am willing to share... some... 🤪 get em while you can!

Seeing things like this makes it hard to believe that my dogs are stranger intolerant. We raise our LGDs to be suspicious of strangers, but they know who their family is. Even Zoey tolerates Colten. I said tolerates, I didn't say she likes him 😂. This is Jimmy, and yes he's blowing his coat

Friends, I'm going to be taking the flag in so that it's not used as a projectile with the wind that has been kicking up. We have some branches and a few limbs down already so the farm store will see theoretically remain open, but it does look like it's getting a little funky out there so make sure you are safe today.

If you know me, we have likely had the talk about carrying milk here in the store and how it's really not worth it to us to continue to carry it. It's a big fridge though, so we need to fill the space, so here is what I'm thinking... grab and go wraps and salads on weekends only. This is perfect for anyone just heading down 145, or for our u-pick nights when people want to hang out, pick flowers, and have something quick to eat while they're hanging out. What do you all think?

Look what I was able to snag! We are taking cuttings of this, Czarny Charakter Sport, and also of Czarny Charakter to increase our stock before adding them to our sales list. I am still planting out dahlias... the amount of dahlias we have this year is ummm something I may regret greatly in the fall.. we have some knock out varieties this year and I can't wait to share them with you all!

Good morning! I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of the followers and customers for your patience with us this season. This is NOT the start to the season that I anticipated. Between awful weather, every piece of equipment broken, kid injuries, lambs, it's been not a lot of fun. The shoppe has been relatively quiet and to be honest, I haven't had time to restock things, have frozen meals made, etc. because I have simply been too busy with other things. I debated even bothering to open this year, and thought about just being a flower farm in its entirety this year. Sometimes the most profitable thing you can do is to simplify. I still have about 40 trays to get in the ground that should have been in already. Planting season is no small undertaking here, and it's taking me longer than I anticipated because I always need to stop to do something else. That being said, I am going to be restocking the farm store with new products over the next few weeks. I appreciate your patience-Lori
