Countdown is on and we are 3 days away! It’s sale week!!

We are incredibly thankful for all of the support from everyone and it has been such a blessing to have all of our family and friends rally around us. We really think these cattle are some of the best that we have bred and we have certainly had help along the way. I told dad when we first got this going that I don’t want to recreate the wheel, I wanted to take a hard look at successful programs we had purchased from and work to develop our own program with cattle that worked for us and were proven. When you look down the pedigrees of these cattle you’ll notice plenty of familiar names. The dams are proven, they’ve worked, they’ve won, and they’re producing to this day!

Lot number six is the only steer in our offering and he really earned his spot in the sale. I had him in a different group from my sale calves feeding him and he just kept standing out to me. He’s super docile and has great footing, is a PB Maine and has some nice hair that will make him a fun one for a kiddo to show with. No doubt he needs the feed poured to him, but he hasn’t been in a cool room or even in the barn much for that matter so with some good feeding he is really going to come on strong!
