We are super proud of our Lane Daniel! He’s had so much farm work he’s had little time to practice but he still had a great weekend! So proud of our cowboys.

Congrats to these contestants that will represent Team Alabama in the Cinch Cup Challenge at the Southeastern Showdown next month!

As some of you may have heard, we had an accident at the farm this past Sunday. Our barnyard coaster experienced a sudden crack in the track; which caused one cart to run off. Luckily, the car remained attached to the two carts in front of it and never detached completely. This is due to the proper maintenance of the carts. There are no reasons as to why this happened or any explanation. While Alabama doesn’t require ride inspections, we get all of our rides inspected prior to each season. Since Alabama doesn’t have ride inspection requirements, we hire someone to travel from out of state each year. Our last ride inspection was October 4th, only 4 days prior to this incident. The inspector was complementary of our maintenance program and daily inspection protocols. The crack was in a solid steel area and could not have been predicted or prevented. It could happen with any amusment ride. In addition to the recent inspection, we also had each individual track welded together to insure further safety to our guests. This was completed just this September 21st! We want all of you to know that your safety is and always has been our top priority. Our children are out playing on these rides and attractions, alongside yours. We would never put any of them in harm’s way. While we take all precautions, sometimes accidents still happen. We will not be opening either of the coasters until further notice. We have so many attractions on the farm to enjoy, the kids won’t miss the coasters. As far as the guests involved in the accident; their privacy is important to us. However, we do know that you are concerned for them, as we are. We did make contact to express our concern on Monday. The guest that was taken by ambulance had been released and was at home. To those of you that chose to assist or step away, thank you. While we are devastated this accident occurred; it truly could not have been prevented. Through all of the emotions, we are thankful that the device that holds the carts together performed its job. Lastly, we are so very thankful that there were no serious injuries. We care very much for each one of you, and we will continue to do our very best to provide a safe place for you to bring your families. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your fall memories.

Did you know that 4D Farm has all new after dark activities? We have an all new Goblin Glow and singing pumpkin show as well as our corn maze. You may want to bring a flashlight for the maze so you can find your way out! We will be open Thursday 2pm-7pm (no after dark activities on Thursdays) Friday - 2pm- 9pm (fireworks show at 7:30pm) Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 1pm -7pm (no after dark activities on Sunday). We will have a circus show this weekend!
