Pine Ridge Acres is a local family farm located on the Falmouth/Cumberland line. Featuring grass fed/finished beef, pork, poultry, egg, honey, and other products to area businesses and residents. Formerly the Sunrise Acres establishment, this farm has transitioned from a run-down, forgotten parcel of land into a growing, vibrant property that can boast some of the best views in town.

Earlier this week, the last of our fall calves arrived, and we think we saved one of the cutest for last. 🐮❤️

This little one is settling in nicely and keeping a close eye on everything happening around the farm. Just look at that face!

🍂 Looking for a cute fall activity this weekend? Stop by the farm store! We've stocked up on mini pumpkins and gourds that are perfect for coloring, painting, decorating, and letting little imaginations run wild.

We also have plenty of larger pumpkins outside for carving season, but if pumpkin guts all over the kitchen table isn't really your thing, our smaller pumpkins make for a fun (and much cleaner!) fall craft. 🎨🎃

🥩 October Beef Cut Feature: Filet Mignon

When it comes to steak, Filet Mignon is in a class of its own. Cut from the tenderloin, it's known for being the most tender cut of beef with a buttery texture that practically melts in your mouth.

We love filets because sometimes simple is best. A little salt, pepper, and a hot pan are all you need to create a steakhouse-worthy meal at home.

For the best results, cook to medium-rare, let it rest before slicing, and don't forget a pat of butter on top. ✨

POV: You give cows access to fresh pasture and they still file a formal complaint.

We cleaned around the barn, they waited at the gate, and then spent the walk back in telling us exactly what they thought of the situation.

The grass may not be greener on the other side, but apparently the grass/hay next to the barn is worth singing about. 🐄🎶🌱

🚨 BEEF FREEZER RESTOCK ALERT 🚨

The freezers are officially FULL again!

We just restocked a ton of customer favorites, including Filet Mignon, New York Sirloins, Fajita Strips, Coulottes, Hanging Tenders, Top Round, Cowboy Steaks, Chuck Eyes, Shaved Steak, Skirts, Flat Irons, Sirloin Tips, Steak Tips, Brisket, Short Ribs, Soup Bones, all organ meats, plus marrow/dog bones.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure an October butcher date, so what we have now is likely what we'll be working with through November. If there are cuts you love, now is the time to stock up your freezer before they're gone.

🥩 The butcher called... your favorites are back! 🥩

We've restocked flank, flat iron, London broil, sandwich steak, sirloin tips, skirt steak, soup bones, and tongue.

We also have plenty of ribeyes, tenderloins, NY sirloins, ground beef, and stew beef on hand.

🐷 Good news for pork lovers too: ground pork is back in stock, and pork chops will be available later this weekend!

Looking ahead, our next beef restock will likely be the first week of October, when we'll be able to refresh some of your other favorite cuts.
