It is PEAK apple harvest time around here! Our Heartland Apple Festival is aptly timed and named… 🍎🍏

We have harvested six different varieties in the last five days. Can you identify which ones are which?! Hint: there are some duplicate varieties in the various photos 🍏🍎

We also have three more festival weekends to go after this one, and fall attractions are open every day from 1-6 PM. The perfect fall break activity is visiting Beasley’s during the week!

Have you taken a hayride yet this fall?! If not, this is your sign! 🎃🌼🚜 Check out all of these groups having a blast last weekend, plus their hauls from our pumpkin and marigold fields!

Fall is in full swing here at Beasley’s, and fall at Beasley’s is not complete without a hayride to the pumpkin patch! Pssst - it also takes you to the marigold field 🎃🌼🤩

A hayride is included with admission, and you can catch one any day of the week! 🎃🌼

Activities are up and running weekdays from 1-6pm ONLY, and Saturdays and Sundays during all business hours! 🎃🌼 If you’re looking for fall break fun, this is it - plus, weekday admission is discounted compared to weekend day admission, AND it’s less crowded Monday-Friday than the weekends! 🎉

All Jack-o-Lanterns from the patch are only $10 each, regardless of weight or size, so go on the hunt for the biggest and most perfect one you can find! 🎃

Don’t want to take the hayride or do the fall activities? Choose a Jack from the pumpkin pile in front of the barn! 🎃

Marigolds are also sold separately - choose from 3 jar sizes to be able to pick 🌼

Wondering if we’ve got pumpkins?! WE SURE DO! 🎃

We grew acres and acres of pumpkins this year, which requires a lot of inputs and time, but we’re extremely happy with the result! 🎃

How cool is it to watch our guys harvest our pumpkins? They’ve got a pretty great system that works well, but it is hard work! We’re picking pumpkins daily this time of year! Have you seen a trailer load of our pumpkins going down the road yet?

There are Jack-o-Lanterns, orange and white pie pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, and mini gourds and pumpkins to choose from 🎃

Pick your own Jack-o-Lantern from the patch by taking the hayride with fall festival admission, or choose one from the GIANT pile out front of the barn! All Jacks are $10, regardless of how big or heavy it is! 🎃

Pie pumpkins are $4 each, mini gourds and pumpkins are $1.50 each, and large specialty pumpkins are $12 each. Visit our barn market to choose from what we’ve picked! 🎃

Our fall attractions and activities run EVERY WEEKDAY from 1-6pm - a perfect fall break afternoon activity! Come see us for some fall fun! 🎃

You know we have pumpkins and apples this time of year, but did you know that we also have homegrown peppers?! 🫑🌶️

How GORGEOUS are these red bell peppers, grown right here on our farm? You just cannot create that beautiful red! 🤩

Red bell peppers are mild and sweet, and can be used in so many ways! Snack on them raw dipped in ranch, dice into a stir fry or pasta dish, or stuff them with meat and rice for an entree! 🫑🌶️

Plus, they’re packed with vitamin C, which helps boost immunity - just ahead of cold and flu season 🤧

We also have homegrown jalapeños, green bell peppers, and lunchbox/snacking peppers! What other homegrown produce do we still have available?

This two-weekend, extended hours, fun-filled festival is what started it all for us 40 YEARS AGO, and we’re excited to kick things off tomorrow! 🍎

If you’re looking for pumpkins, we’ve got you! 🎃

Wondering where to find the best locally grown jack-o-lanterns this fall? Boy, have we got good news for you! 🤩🎃

There’s not a lot that goes perfectly in farming (let’s be honest - nothing does), but we’re very happy with our pumpkin patch this year! 🤩 We’ve got LOTS of pumpkins, high quality, HUGE, and grown in no-till fields, so they’re also pretty clean!

You can pick your own from the pumpkin patch by taking the hayride out there as part of Festival Admission, or you can choose one from the giant pumpkin pile out front of the barn!

The best part? Every jack-o-lantern is $10, regardless of weight, size, or perfect complexion 🎃🤩

We’re also growing orange and white pie pumpkins, and specialty pumpkins, so you can find a perfect mixture for your porch decor! 🎃

Ambrosia apples ✨🍎😋

We started picking our homegrown Ambrosia apples yesterday! They have been brought into the market, washed, graded, bagged, and they await you in the market! 🍎

This apple is originally from British Colombia in Canada. It was a club apple until 2017, meaning that it was not open to all growers. We’ve been growing it since 2019, and it was the first cultivar we planted into a tall spindle system!

This year we expect to harvest more than 75 bins (nearly 30 tons!) of them 🍎 We will be packing them well into the winter months and will have them available in the market for a while!

We think its flavor is almost reminiscent of a pear, and we find it an extremely refreshing apple to eat! 🍎 Its best use is as an eating or snacking apple, for sure. Perfect for an easy snack on the go or in your kids’ lunch!

In case you haven’t picked up on it, our farm crew works tirelessly this time of year picking apples! They hand pick every single apple, wear 40 pound buckets on their chests to transport them to the bins, work late to get them bagged, and we would never be able to get this done without them! 🍎 Shoutout to our guys!

We are in peak apple season right now, but we also have apples nearly year-round in our market! 🍎 come in to get some Ambrosia and you just might find your new (or maybe it already is) favorite!
