If you are asking yourself why we are posting a picture of an everyday frother, you aren’t alone!

We use this every morning for the powdered vitamin mix we take (the ones that have fixed our indigestion/reflux, chronic low back issues, knees, and even some mental health help likely due to balancing lady hormones). Whole food sourced and tasty, as well!

The frother wasn’t in its normal place. It was on the drying rack as I had rinsed it off! But from what is the question!

We do everything we can as naturally as we can! It just so happens I needed to make another batch of flea and tick repellant spray for the dogs yesterday(and it is safe enough for us to use-so we do) I used the frother this time as I tried a little different process but I ended up with more of a paste so I mixed in more water and used my everyday frother to mix it up better. It worked and I rinsed off my kitchen gadget and set it to dry.
Fast forward to this morning…when I picked up the everyday frother, it never even bothered me that I had used it for the pest spray. Why? Because we use all natural ingredients! The everyday frother is totally able to be safely used for both. What other fly spray can you (or would you) use a utensil from your kitchen safely?
I’ll wait….insider tip….there isn’t one!
Recipe/process for the pest spray in the next post.

We NEVER know what each day will bring!
We ended last night with our failed show in the very farthest NW corner of our pasture mooing at the neighbors. At first, when we heard the distressed mooing, we thought they had a cow in distress but found out the mooing was our cow; who sounded very much in distress but very much perfectly fine! Her cow buddy was even right there with her. Who knows!
This morning brought a neat discovery on our way out to town. No idea where it came from or how long it will stay but totally cool, none the less!
Keep your eyes open!
Stay curious!
Have a great day y’all!

For all the fans of our unconventional livestock guardian, Sunray (RayRay as we affectionately called him) we want you to know that there was an accident here on the homestead and had to make a quick and VERY hard decision to let our homegrown kitty go be with his mama in Heaven! We saw him born (1/25/2022) and we’re always amazed at all the greatness that was him. Our vet went above and beyond to help his transition be as painless as possible but he took a piece of our hearts with him! (5/21/2026)
As with most things on the homestead and in life, the need never stops. We were suggested to meet up with a lady here local that rescued a litter of kittens from our local supercenter that the mama cat abandoned. They were looking for a good home for them! Y’all know our animals hit the lottery when they come to be in our care! We took a drive, held every kitten, and one of them chose us!

Meet Joonford Todd!

We hope you are enjoying this beautiful Friday! If you are stuck inside and hating everything…get outside! In the meantime, enjoy half of our herd doing what the herd does best!!!

This brew is bursting with flavor! Sweet, yummy, and all the goodness for your tummy!!!
Trust us when we tell you that if you don’t like kombucha, you will most definitely like ours! Fermented for 7 days is our magic number…still tasty with all the good probiotics but not bitter or overpowering…so we don’t have to add in a ton of sugar like most brands that ferment for longer and get that “bite” no one likes!
