Ok, so we are hoping to start the Salad Bar this Friday at 11am if we can get everything ready and added to our POS System.
We have some questions for all of you.
1. Do you want to have it for only lunch or would you like to see it offered in the evenings as well?
2. We will be offering it as a Togo item as well where you can come in and make it up and leave. Do we need to offer this option in two sizes?
3. Would like to have to option of ordering online with the items you want and we have it ready for you so you don’t have to wait?
4. Lunch menu is going to be very limited. Would you rather have option of pizza by the slice or personal pizza?
5. What dressings would you like to see? We can do up to 6 in Salad Bar unit. We are thinking Italian, Ranch, French, Thousand Island, Poppy Seed, and Caesar’s.
6. Is there an interest to by the pasta salads, potato salad, etc by the pound? We didn’t know since Massingill’s was gone if there would be a need for that as well. We plan on making all our salads homemade.
For lunch we are going to keep the menu light-salad, pizza by slice or personal, breadsticks, spaghetti, & crustless pizza unless several think there is a need for something else. We plan to add soup to the salad bar this fall if it goes well and we continue it all year long.
We have been asked to possible offer a pizza buffet as well. We might entertain offering that on Monday nights if there is enough interest.
Please share your thoughts and this post. We know we can’t please everyone but would like to offer what majority wants.
