Summer Krushin’ in honor of Romero’s K9 Club & Taphouse’s 10th anniversary.

Beer Name: Summer Krushin’
Collaboration with: Romero's K9 Club & Tap House
Style: Anniversary Pale Ale
Abv: 4.6%
Hops: Mosaic, Krush
Malt: North Star Pils, Wheat, Chit
Yeast: Chico Ale
Label art: RamiroRyan
Inspiration: Balter Brewing Company XPA

Summer Krushin’ is an incredibly refreshing and wonderful showcase of hop character in an infinitely drinkable format - the perfect beer for Woofstock, 3 days of Peace & Music celebrating Romero’s 10 year anniversary. By incorporating a lot of small hop additions all throughout the boil we achieved layered hop saturation not common in lower abv hoppy offerings. This along with a modest dry hop lets the hop flavors shine. The combination of Krush and Mosaic brings sensory notes of ripe pineapple, passionfruit and a hint of blueberries.

Available on draft and in cans to go from Bierstadt Lagerhaus , via limited distro through CSA Distributing and at Romero’s Woofstock, 10th anniversary celebration this weekend (August 13th-15th.)

We’re back with not just one, but two new releases dropping this week!

Beer Name: Three Ladies
Collaboration with: sắp sửa & Bierstadt Lagerhaus
Style: Rice Lager
Abv: 4.4%
Malt: Barke Pils, Three Ladies Jasmine Rice
Hops: Tettnang, Motueka
Yeast: 3470 German Lager

Three Ladies is a Jasmine Rice Lager brewed with the same rice (Three Ladies Jasmine, Extra Super Quality) that Sap Sua exclusively uses in their kitchen. Sap Sua selected the rice for its bright floral aromatics and pleasant texture. We brewed the beer with the intent of highlighting the same rice aromatics in a great beverage pairing for their cuisine. The Motueka and Tettnang hops were selected to provide a citrus and key-lime undertone that we thought would compliment the kafir lime and lemongrass used in the Sap Sua Kitchen; although the floral rice aroma is the dominant contributor to the sensory experience

Beer Name: Classic West
Style: American IPA
Abv: 7.1%
Malt: To Thee Pils, Vienna, Chit, Carafa 3 Special
Hops: Citra, Simcoe, Columbus
Yeast: Chico Ale

Copper in color, Classic West honors the early American IPAs that helped drive the craft revolution in America. Focusing on hops that drive citrus, pine and resinous characteristics we dialed up the malt to give this beer more body and texture than its Modern counterpart. The one delineation from the true classics is the lack of Crystal Malt, ensuring Classic West is highly drinkable with less opportunity for negative oxidation. We get orange marmalade and pine on the nose, and a resinous bitterness on the linger.

Our first foray into American-style Pale Ale drops this week!

Name: Superdelic Cowboy
Collaboration w/: Craft Coast & Ephemeral
Style: American Pale Ale
Malt: Weyermann Extra Pale Pils, Wheat
Hops: Superdelic, Simcoe
Yeast: Chico
ABV: 5.6%

We teamed up with our homies at Craft Coast and Ephemeral Rotating Taproomfor this American Pale Ale collaboration. Following Craft Coast’s lead, we leaned into wheat malt for texture and Superdelic hops from New Zealand. The Craft Coast team are big fans of Superdelic and this was our first opportunity to use the hop. This American Pale ale utilizes Simcoe hops for classic American hop undertones of grapefruit and pine with the Superdelic bringing some more contemporary fruit notes of raspberry and pink starburst candy.

Look for it where good beer is sold.

We are beyond excited to announce the release of Visions of the Future, our first beer release as part of the FWD program.

Malt: Rahr To-Thee Pils
Yeast: Chico Ale
ABV: 6.8%

This beer was brewed in partnership with FWD, the hop innovation program from and and features HBC 1183- only available through participation in this program. HBC 1183 has a similar breeding lineage to the recently released Krush hop, and is similarly loud. Paired with our selected Mosaic hops, the two hops are playing jazz together...

You asked, we listened (also, we really wanted to revisit this one). This iteration of Modest West keeps the hop varieties the same but utilizes our 2025 crop year selected hops. We’ve been experimenting with increasing our boiled hop load in low-alcohol beers to improve body and texture. Between the increased kettle hop load and decoction, the beer drinks much more full and saturated than the low ABV would suggest. Hoppy, low alcohol beers are a big passion of ours, and we’re really excited about this iteration! Just in time for spring weather and patio drinkin’ (although it feels like this past winter never came and it’s been spring since last October.)

Malt: Rahr To-Thee Pils
Hops: Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe
Yeast: Chico Ale
Abv: 4.8%
Aroma: Pineapple, passionfruit, pine, cannabis
Flavor: Mango, peach, green melon rind
Palate Impact: Rich and saturated with a bitter and snappy finish.

Look for it via limited distro around town starting this week.
