Our present goal is to provide premium genetics to young people by bringing quality showstock closer. We hope to offer lambs and cattle that not only will compete in North Carolina, but also at a national level. We have a passion for excellence, and we

First round of ultrasounds went well and we have some EXCITING lambs coming! 10 left to scan later for January/February lambs but we are tickled to death for this set!! 50% on AI doesn’t hurt my feelings too bad when it was 100° leading up to AI day, especially with these particular ewes stuck. Ready for December!! 🤩

Proud and excited to announce details of our very first showmanship clinic for our Haynes Farm crew! This year we will be limiting attendees to those that have purchased a lamb or bred ewe from us within the past two seasons. If this goes well and we feel like we can handle more showmen we may open this clinic up to others next year. Stay tuned! We are thrilled to introduce our amazing instructors and other fun additions!

Kendra Bolinger comes to us from Bruceton Mills, WV. She owns and operates KB Show Lambs as well as Kendra Bolinger Photography. Kendra recently raised the Reserve Champion Ewe at the State Fair of West Virginia and had a phenomenal show career herself. Her stock is impressive and we appreciate her for her girl power! She is kind, passionate and a wealth of knowledge—we are fortunate to get to learn from her!❤️

Corey Dawson comes to us from Iowa by way of his hometown in Guilford, Indiana. Corey is a partner of King/Dawson Genetics out of Marydel, MD, raising high quality stock. He has worked for some of the largest and most successful firms in the industry and has placed or been involved with multiple State Fair Champions from coast to coast. We cannot wait to learn from him as he helps us dial in lambs leading up to our final push for State Fair! He also serves as the ultimate hype man!💃

Blue Merle Bling, owned and operated by Hattie Jo and Kristie Powell, offers many fun items: jewelry, wild rags, show clothes, leg wraps and more!! We are happy to have them. We are also excited to have the help of Hattie Jo, a Sullivan’s Stock Show U instructor, for showmanship!

BRIMMED Hat Bar will be here for all your hat-making needs. Whether you are going for a cowboy or trucker hat, Naomi has you covered! She may bring some other goodies along for the ride as well!😉

Amanda Bledsoe will be on site to capture moments from the clinic. We have high hopes for this event and want to make sure we have quality pictures to look back on!

⛰️New River Valley Fair & Jackpot⛰️
Got home from McDowell County late Friday night to load up early Saturday morning and go again. Didn’t get home til 11:30, we were all worn out, but WORTH IT!! Early check-ins with late show starts are tough but so thankful we could all take a breath and have some fun before the show. When it’s 9pm and your girls are still washing lambs, blowing out legs and doing leg wraps before heading home you know you’ve got some passionate, driven, committed showmen. Couldn’t be more proud of them!!

PROUD of this one. Top 3 from each showmanship division competed for this. 12 showmen—EK was one of 6 pulled to work again amongst kids all older than her. She showed right alongside of them and honestly put on a clinic at 8 years old. She’s put in the WORK, on her very own many times (with her iPad in the pen to get video of her practices to send me—the cutest) and it paid off! Charlotte Payne at 16 years old has also driven 45 minutes to her house almost weekly to coach and I absolutely applaud her for that as well. I take very little credit! And that’s what this industry does—it teaches some truly valuable life skills and lessons. So very proud of “my” kids!!

One of the coolest things we’ve done. Haynes Farm gear is headed out across the country (well, halfway at least!) and it makes me SO happy and proud to know we have so many folks supporting us near and far! Convinced this industry has provided me with the best friends I could ever ask for.
