Fredonia Mountain Farmer's Market Opening Weekend is here!
Last year we partnered with Wheeler's Orchard and other neighboring farmers in Dunlap to open a community stocked farmstand. Our rural mountain area has slim pickings for fresh food, let alone local, but from now until fall the Fredonia Mountain Farmer's Market is open at Wheeler's Orchard. And to celebrate, Alysia is leading TWO Spring Plant Forage Walks at Wheeler's Orchard on Saturday (05/16)!

Farm Reflections
April is always a chaos month. Spring brings renewed joy, vigor, and enthusiasm as well as a packed market schedule, traveling, and working to get the gardens planted after last frost. A spring whirlwind.
This past month and a half we have: put more food than we've ever had growing at one time in the ground, created new perennial beds, we broke down a geodesic dome to move to the farm, we met so many of you near and a far via Sanctuary Summit, the Wild Medicine Conference and at Chattanooga/on-farm events, we connected with new herbal teachers for future classes, we got our Spring Herbal CSA Boxes out (which memberships is now open all year!), we've harvested so many medicinal flowers, we've hand watered so much as we are in a severe drought again, we joined the Chattanooga Sunday Market, and we've harvested garlic an entire month early!
Snag a Spring Herbal CSA Box or sign-up for the remainder of the year!
Product Restocks Coming Soon
If you've been on our website lately looking for something specific you may have noticed we are out of stock on many items right now. This is because all of our herbal goodies are made with plants entirely grown or locally foraged by us! When we run out of a plant, we have to wait. Instead of ordering lack luster herbs we have no connection with, we create our goodies based on the seasons with plants grown in right in our own backyards. This allows us all to better live in conjunction with and deeper to the land. Now that many plants are waking back up, we will begin to see product restocks as soon as early next week. So stay tuned if you've been on the look-out for something!
