With the completion of our spring breeding season, we’d like to recognize a talented college student who joined Shasta View Genetics as a summer intern.

When Patricia Kirby first reached out about an internship, we weren’t sure we’d be able to accommodate one. Fortunately, this year’s schedule allowed us to bring on some extra help, and we’re grateful we had the opportunity to work with her.

Patricia transferred from North Dakota to Eastern Oregon University in La Grande and comes from a family that manages one of the largest cattle ranches in Southern Oregon. Her passion for the cattle industry, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn made her a great addition to our team this spring.

We want to thank Patricia for all of her hard work and wish her the very best as she finishes her college career. We have no doubt she has a bright future ahead in the cattle industry.
