Fibering..one out..one in the wash water and one white one in to soak..and some britch washing for a project. Gotta get ot done while it can dry fast in this heat. Creme de cognac is a must have dahila...soo pretty. And lastly that is NOT belle of bamara. I bought 8 tubers from a company and 6 are mislabeled. That stinks. It's my Happy alive day. 4 years since I fell off the barn. I should have died. Really. Leaned on the rail of our barn stairs and it broke .(really bad construction) burst fracture of the c1 vertebrae. Both occipits of skull fractured. Both eyesockets fractured. Degloved my head-250 staples, broke both wrists, tore my carotid artery. .no one was home and my phone was on my desk. So I did what any farmer would do. Got up. Went up 2 stairs to the feed room and got a freshly laundered lambing towel to plaster on my gushing head wound. I knew I had hurt my neck. I heard it but the amount of red stuff coming from my head was extremely concerning. Stumbled my way to the house..passed the occupied guest house (did I ask for help? No I thought omg I am going to get a review that zombies live here)made it to the phone. Laid my head on the desk because I could not hold it up anymore. Dialed jon on the cell (took like 6 tries)and 911 on the hard line. My father in law arrived first....looked under the towel and said oh dear god hold that tight...I said ya think? Ambulance arrived..got very very blurry till 4 days later. 26 days in the hospital. I told Ellie in the ICU that I didn't think I could do this. (Scared her) Halo for 4 months.c collar for what seemed like forever.
I could not have gotten through this without the best neurosurgeon on the planet and the support of my friends and family that stayed with me almost every night in the hospital.visited me checked my wound daily.. Kept telling me I could do this. Most of all without Jon. The most amazing husband and life partner. I may have lifelong disabilities now and excruciating migraines almost every single day...but staying positive and adapting to the new me (better living through chemicals) that is way slower than I used to be. It's okay. I am alive. Blessed to be here and Thank God for every single new sunrise.
