High Ridge Meadows Farm,LLC We are a small farm in the hills of East Randolph, VT. We love what we are doing & feel blessed to be farming in this beautiful state.

Iā€™m late. Iā€™ve been busyšŸ˜. I love this time of year and I plan to enjoy every day of this beautiful month. The harvesting continues. I feel so blessed to have such an abundance of fresh, organically grown food. The days are getting noticeably shorter but Iā€™m loving the cooler days. September 11 still sends me reeling. It was a horrendous day and I will never forget it. It makes me gasp and then I think of all the wars going on and my heart breaks. I donā€™t know if mankind will ever evolve into a peaceful society. We are still like Caine & Able. So sad šŸ˜¢

We had visitors yesterday and I wasnā€™t sure that the sheep would want to greet them but they came running up when I called. Good sheepšŸ˜ŠšŸ‘Honestly, I love this sweet little flock.

We have added stew meat & shanks in the freezer if anyone is getting that Fall feel. Also garlic bulbs & fresh cut basil. Some sheepskins are in the barn for purchase , as well. Sorry, Iā€™m late posting this! grown fed beef

Itā€™s been feeling a little bit like Fall here lately. Well, I guess itā€™s coming soon. I donā€™t often knit in the heat of the summer but give me a little chill in the air and I canā€™t wait to feel the wool yarn in my hands! How about you? Are you more of a cool weather knitter or do you enjoy knitting/ crocheting even in the heat of summer?

Our 11 year old grandson took these beautiful shots of the night sky a couple of nights ago. It was amazing to see how many stars we could actually see and almost more amazing to see all the satellites passing by. Kind of cool but kind of creepy, too. I guess we are pretty dependent on those satellitesšŸ˜
