Fresh sweet corn picked this morning for you! Still have some beautiful tomatoes and peppers, other veggies will be restocked Friday! We should be back in the farm stand on Thursday!

I have SO appreciated your patience and flexibility! Tomorrow should be the last tent day and then Thursday I can move back into the Farmstand! Tomorrow I’m hoping to stain the outside deck and steps if the rain holds off. Here’s the progress so far! I’m loving the dark floor!!

Open 9-6 today!
Self serve in our little tent while I stain the floors. Beef, eggs, milk, cheese curds, and ice cream in the mini fridge/freezer. Please cash or Venmo only I have no way to process a card transaction outside. We should be back to normal by Thursday. Thank you!!

Why are you never at The Corner Lot?
“This should be your full-time job, right?!”

RIGHT! 😂

We are working. We are always working. ❤️

We’re busy raising 3 little farmers and doing our part to keep local agriculture alive.

Our herd is small—about 30 pairs (mamas and their babies)—and right now they’re out on pasture, loving life. We check them every day to make sure everyone is happy and healthy.

We feed the steers down in the barn who are getting ready for butcher, and of course give them plenty of ear scratchies. 🐮❤️

We take care of our chickens, feed them, and collect eggs—which is largely the job of our smallest farmers. 🐔🥚

Me and the boys collect local produce, place orders, bake, stock and restock the store. We water plants, plan seeds, and prepare for the next greenhouse season. 🌱

And then there’s the hay. We cut it, bale it, wrap it, and put it away to feed our cows all winter.

A farmer’s job is never done.

And yes, sometimes that job takes a little longer with six little hands tagging along. 😂

But I’d argue that teaching those little hands where their food comes from, how much work goes into producing it, and how to be grateful for it every step of the way is more important than being at the farm store every single day.

So if you stop by and I’m not there, please know we’re still working. ❤️

And we’re always around and reachable—ya know, the farmer’s curse. 😂

That’s where our cows, chickens, hay, greenhouse work and, most importantly, our little family all come together. The Corner Lot is just one piece of the bigger picture.

We’re proud to farm here, raise our kids here, and share a little bit of what we grow and produce with our community.
