Hydrate! Hydrate!! Hydrate!!!

When we allow the livestock in the horse pasture, which is at the top of a hill, we like to ensure they can conserve energy by having water readily available. If they had to trek all the way down and back from the pond that is located at the bottom of the big pasture (roughly a quarter mile), they would be exhausted.

So, at a consumption rate of ~140(ish) gallons of water a day, these “hoovies” need lots of readily available H2O!

Hay field 1 of 3 (sprayed and fertilized). This is the hay we feed our horses with. Coastal Jigs Bermuda. Square Bales. Great Quality!!

We have been dodging the rains and have finally found a window to bale this hay field.

We will fill our hay barns and whatever extra we have we will sell. We will do the same for our two other hay fields.
Hay field 2 of 3 = 100% Organic (Coastal/Mix)
Hay field 3 of 3 =100% Organic (Bahia)
