We made it through winter!

We’re getting things ready and will post our official opening day soon!

Let’s get caught up on what’s been happening around the orchard. Jerry had shoulder surgery, so Kate from Kate’s Lawn Care handled our snow removal, and she did a wonderful job! She’s been great to work with.

This spring was a busy one! Debbie enjoyed a girls’ trip with daughters Brooke and Lindsey, granddaughter Brystol, and our store helper Jessica, who is like a daughter to us, got to have Donuts with Mom with her granddaughter Brystol, cheered on Bryson at his track meets, attended Brystol’s field day, and celebrated another anniversary with Jerry. We also squeezed in a few go-kart rides along the way.

We celebrated Easter at our daughter Lindsey’s house, attended Megan’s bridal shower, celebrated Debbie’s 75th birthday, celebrated Mother’s Day, spent Memorial Day at Debbie’s sister’s cabin, and attended our grandson John’s wedding, where we officially welcomed Megan to the Wiese family! ❤️

Our son Chad came back from Kentucky for the wedding and helped us tackle a few projects while he was here. Spring has been wonderful to our apple trees this year the blooms were beautiful, and the trees are loaded! 🍎

The boys have been busy mowing, Claire has been helping Jerry, and Brystol and Debbie have been hard at work getting the store ready for another season.

Before the season begins, we’ll be taking a family vacation to rest, recharge, and enjoy some time together before the busy months ahead.

We’re excited to see everyone soon and can’t wait to welcome you back to Super Bee Orchard! ❤️🍑🐝

Today is a very special day! 🎉

Owners Jerry and Debbie are celebrating an incredible 55 years of marriage ❤️

Farmer Jerry had his 15-week follow-up with his ortho doctor yesterday, and we are so grateful for the progress he’s made. Considering the severity of the tear in his shoulder, the doctor said he’s doing fantastic. He’s officially been released from ortho, but he still has a long road of physical therapy ahead something we knew would take time once they saw just how much damage his shoulder had. We’re SO thankful for Dr. Hutton and his amazing team at Ortho Nebraska for taking such great care of him throughout this journey.

We are beyond thankful for Nannen Physical Therapy in Blair. They’ve been so kind, gentle, patient, and encouraging throughout his recovery. Baby steps, but he’s right where he needs to be 🙌🏻❤️

Now if we could just trade this arctic weather for sunshine and peaches… we’re more than ready for warmer, sunnier days.

Our 2025 season is officially closed!
Yesterday, our daughter Lindsey and son-in-law Keith helped remove our open signs, making it “official” we are now closed for the season.

Wow… what an incredible year! We made so many wonderful memories, met so many new customers, and loved catching up with our weekly visitors. We are so grateful you chose Super Bee to make those special family memories. Thank you for supporting local it means more than you know.

This orchard truly runs on family teamwork, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing crew:

• Lindsey (daughter) helping with just about everything! Working in the store, running our Facebook with Debbie, picking and sorting apples, making caramel apples, tree cleanup, running pickups and errands, mowing, stepping in wherever needed… and driving Jerry to his shoulder appointments.
• Brooke (daughter) helping in the store on Sundays, keeping everything running smoothly and greeting customers with a smile.
• Keith (son-in-law) always lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed.
• Bryson & Brystol our sweet grandkids. Bryson can usually be found mowing or picking apples, and Brystol learned how to run the cash register this year and count back change she even answers the phone, which is one of her favorite jobs.
• Jessica (like a daughter to us) our Saturday store helper who keeps everything flowing.
• Aiden (mowing) & Aiden and Claire (apple picking) thank you for your hard work and helping us finish strong especially towards the end of the season with Jerry and his surgery we appreciate your help!

A huge thank you as well to Fontanelle Orchard for their delicious pies and to Ditmars Orchard for their AMAZING apple cider doughnuts and wonderful cider. We love working with you!

We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a New Year filled with nothing but good things for you and your family.

We can’t wait to see everyone again in June 2026!
