Easy, fun and creative way to make Horse pizzas. We did this with the summer camp kids, and they really enjoyed grinding up the horse treats, and thinking creatively about what toppings they could gather for their pizzas. They used grass, oats, a few sprinkles of grain and the ground of Horse treats. The horses love them!

In our homesteading camp, we step back in time and experience life in the mid-1800s. Life slows down. Feels simpler. Lots of hard work, though. Play too!

This month we are working on connecting with our horses before our rides in classes. We are calling this month join-up June, in order to check in with our horses and make sure they are on the same page as us before rides. Connection is a big part of what we build here in our community at the farm and creating that connection with our animals is at the heart of what we do.
