I made my first batch of laundry detergent; 256 ounces. I decided not to add essential oils to the batch; instead, I added essential oil drops to my washing machine dispenser. This way I can try different essential oils.

I washed a load of kitchen towels. The towels are clean. The smell is pure and natural. No dyes! I did not add fabric softener. Fabric softener makes towels less absorbent.

I am thinking about selling the laundry detergent in our farm store where you bring your own jar and pay by the ounce.

We are generally well stocked on items used frequently; like, laundry soap, fabric softner, paper products.

I was doing laundry last weekend and realized we were out of fabric softner. I looked up a formula to make my own. It is wonderful! I will never buy fabric softner again!

To make a small batch to try out; combine 2 cups distilled water, 2 cups white vinegar and 1/3 cup baking soda. Add baking soda VERY slowly or you will get the volcano effect from science class! I added 15 drops of essential oil.

Put in your washing machine fabic softner dispenser to add during the rinse cycle.

I was so happy with my fabric softner discovery that I ordered ingredients to make laundry soap. More about that after it is made and tested. :-)

We sell Dr. Squatch products at our farm store. Prices are at or less than Walmart and Amazon. Only 2.9% sales tax!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the cutoff for ordering fresh baked sourdough cinnamon rolls! Made with organic flour, sourdough starter, honey, farm fresh eggs, Grade A butter, organic cinnamon, brown sugar and sea salt.

Our Black Angus ground beef makes delicious burgers. Serve with fresh baked Brioche Hamburgers Buns! Our Black Angus steers are born and raised here at the ranch.

Or, how about pork? We have Berkshires Pork born and raised here at the ranch. Berkshires Pork is not the other white meat. It is rich in flavor and marbling! We offer a 6-pound box, Picnic Shoulder Roasts, Boston Butt Roasts, Breakfast Sausage, Italian Sausage! We have an organic blend spice rub. Serve some pulled pork with Brioche Buns and our Sweet and Tangy Apricot BBQ Sauce.

Beef and pork are processed at a USDA inspected facility, vacuum sealed.

This is Natasha, our new Berkshire Sow. She is 14-months old and pregnant. We do not know when she was bred by Boris II. Based on physical appearance, I am guessing she is around 85-90 days pregnant. Farrowing date around mid-to-late July.
