RINGNECK PHEASANTS AVAILABLE!!! SWFL AREA
We raise beautiful RIngneck Pheasant here at Conquer Ranch. We are a non profit that is working with special needs, juveniles with behavior problems, and veterans with all backgrounds.
Raising ring-necked pheasants offers a sustainable meat and egg supply, the hens lay on average 6 eggs a week for 6-8 months of the year in Florida.
They are incredible for natural pest control when released around your farm or ranch. These hardy, adaptable birds are relatively easy to raise and yield a delicious, lean alternative to traditional poultry. They are excellent for meat production, dressing out like a larger chicken after 6 months. Pheasant meat is a highly sought-after, lean white meat that tastes similar to chicken but is finer in texture and lower in fat. It commands a premium price in upscale culinary markets.
There is a strong market for selling birds to hunting preserves, private dog trainers, or individuals looking to stock their land or freezer. You can also sell eggs and chicks as we have a customer base that is growing. I loved raising them up north before I moved to Florida, but glad I got back into it!
Like other gamebirds, they help manage insect populations in your yard or pasture naturally without the need for chemicals. The striking, colorful plumage of the male ringneck adds beautiful, vibrant color to your property. Their call can be heard in the morning and evening as they call for hens. They do very well raised in pens and are best in quads of 3 hens to every c**k.
