Cropdate with Farmer Henry explaining why Bennett Peach Season ended early this summer.

While Bennett Peach Season usually runs until September, it ended about two weeks early this year due to an early start, a lighter overall crop, and a total loss of our final ‘Encore’ variety of Bennett Peaches due to spring freezes.

During bloom in April, several nights dipped below freezing, leaving us with about 50% of a Bennett Blueberry Crop and 60% of a Bennett Peach Crop.

We’re a real, working farm, we only sell what we grow, so we are limited to what our crops produce.

Bennett Peach Season has officially wrapped up for Summer 2026. While our 🍑 season usually runs through the end of August, it ended a few weeks early this year due to several factors: an early start to the season, a lighter overall crop, and a total loss of our final 'Encore' variety of Bennett Peaches due to frost.

While every year presents its own set of challenges, this was a particularly tough growing season. Warm weather in early spring forced an early bloom that was followed by several freezing nights. We ended up with about 50% of a Bennett Blueberry Crop and about 60% of a Bennett Peach Crop.

As a real, working farm, we sell only what we grow, so our fruit harvests sustain our entire operation for the next 9 months. Thank You for Your Support, especially in a challenging year. It means the 🌎 to us. 🧡

We’re already hard at work preparing for next season and can’t wait to see you (with hopefully a bumper crop of Bennett Peaches & Bennett Blueberries) in Summer 2027! 🧡🍑💙🫐

Pick-Your-Own has finished for the season.
