We made it! It’s October and the field is still blooming. Maybe not the same flowers as there were in July but that makes it even more special. You just never know with Ohio weather, bugs, disease, all that fun stuff.

We’re celebrating a wonderful 2026 season by hosting Customer Appreciation Night TONIGHT! For free!

This weekend we are prepping to design a few pieces for The Winerie Open House event on Sunday Oct 11 11-1pm as a display of our wedding florals. 💒 💍 I decided to pick flowers that would fall into two different palettes - bright, cheery (Spring feel) or dramatic, sassy (Fall inspired). Both beautiful, just different styles and often chosen based on the time of the year.

As the season winds down and our first frost creeps closer, I want to host one final gathering to say thank you to the incredible community that has supported us all year. I am so overjoyed by how wonderful our 2026 season has been, and I truly feel blessed for everyone who continues to choose our flowers.

Next week, we are opening up the fields for a Customer Appreciation Night! Whether you picked up a bouquet, signed up for a subscription, came out to an event, or grabbed a hanging basket, this is our way of giving back to YOU.

Come wander the rows, pick some flowers, take photos, try your hand at saving seeds, or just hang out and enjoy the peaceful evening air. It’s completely free.
While RSVPs on our event page are helpful for us to get a rough headcount, they aren’t strictly required—just show up whenever you’d like.

I had the pleasure and honor of designing homecoming bouquets and boutonnières for a very special lady this past weekend 🥹 Beyond grateful that as her bonus mom, my design was hip enough for a few Gen Zs 😋

The local homecoming celebrations are rolling in 💃🏼 and our HOCO request form is now LIVE on our website 🕺🏼 Simply fill out the form and then we will contact you to nail down details and accept payment.

My little helper and I accomplished quite a bit today and also had an extra visitor 🐭 While arranging bouquets, Charlette said (in a very calm voice) “oh look, there’s a mouse” Luckily I caught the bouquet that I sent flying in the air 😬 And also lucky that this is an old barn space and not the house 😅

We have an exciting weekend we are prepping for and can’t wait to share more! For now, we can share this week’s truly fall flowers. And we have a task for you! Scroll on over to photo 4 and vote for your favorite bouquet. One is my favorite and the other is Charlette’s favorite. All beautiful though!

Bouquets can be found at Wild Brew in Clyde and (this weekend only) at our Farmstand. If you’ve never been to the Farmstand, you can head North out of Clyde to 157 N State Route 510. The Farmstand is just inside the driveway and self serve, accepting exact cash or Venmo.

We’ve officially hit that point in the season where parts of the field look exhausted. 🥱

Today, instead of fighting it, I walked the rows with one rule: harvest only what is thriving. 🌾

Armfuls later, I was reminded how easy it is to treat changing seasons like an uphill battle. We obsess over what’s fading—wishing for last month’s blooms—while missing what’s showing up right in front of us.

Yes, the zinnias are winding down. But the dahlias? They’re in their absolute prime.

With every season comes:
• A surplus of what we didn’t plan for
• A lack of what we thought we wanted
• A quiet abundance of exactly what we need

Shift your perspective, and the work stops feeling like a struggle—it starts feeling like a blessing.
