Breeding & raising horses ain’t for the faint of heart.

With an extremely heavy heart sadly my little Quinn passed away while I was gone this past weekend to unknown causes, I went down to check them and found her laying like she fell asleep and never got up. My heart is shattered, I had such high hopes for her future. I put my heart and soul into her and to find her gone is something I’m struggling to wrap my head around. Tbh I’m a complete mess & trying to understand what went wrong these horses are like my children and to unexpectedly loose her has me a complete mess 💔😭 a year with you wasn’t nearly enough.

Quinn you were so special & im so sorry you never got to show the world that.

Such an amazing weekend with such great people! Couldn’t have asked to spend it doing anything else! Blessed to be around such great talented people that are supportive & kind!

A week ago Miss Mo “Hashtag Morena” had her first show with ARCHA.

For it being her first show I didn’t set my bar high for her as I just wanted her to handle the show environment and arena well. To my surprise I got the message she WON her boxing class on Saturday! I was shocked I was not expecting her to win anything, there’s a lot to work on still but I have faith it’ll come along. She definitely surprised us all.

She is in the hands of an extremely talented trainer and I am very happy with her progress and looking forward to how she keeps coming along in time and her future shows this year!

Thank you so much Steve & Jen for all you do with her care, training, updates and so much more; as well being so honest and real with me about everything along this journey! Keep moving forward Mo, I am proud of you even with all your lovely personality! 🥰

Great little cheat sheet to have on hand! I have one in the vet box at home & my trailer!

As travel amps up for spring 💐 we thought it would be a good time to re-share our 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 “𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭”

A good one to save in your notes section of your phone… it’s always good to periodically take your horses temp, and even better to have an idea of what your horse’s baseline is.

You can often catch things quicker — through temp checks!

Went & seen my girls this afternoon.
They both are doing so good & little girl has straightened out so much in a week, can’t wait to see how she will be in a month! 🥰

Still not sure on a name but as her sweet personality unfolds more I’m sure I’ll find the perfect fit! She is so sweet, in your pocket baby but also is so full of s***k, running circles around mama Dixie all the time.

With that said shoot ideas for Registration names my way as I’m going to start a list to pick from! 😊

Oh baby girl I love you so much already, Dixie girl I couldn’t ask for a better mare you are so perfect in every way! 🩷🥰🎀 it’s so hard to get a decent picture of her even at 12 hrs old she wants to be right in my lap if she’s not eating, sleeping or attempting to run 😂
