•Then a preg check for Eve - she confirmed 4 months along!
I’m extremely excited to have 2 babies born next year and watch them grow & play together!

Very happy with how well the girls did today and that everyone is in great health.

Dually wasn’t sure what to think about mom having a power tool in her mouth & wasn’t to happy the milk bar was closed till mom was done 😂

Huge thank you again to Elgin Vet clinic & Dr. Carlson for always keeping my girls in great health!

Welcome to the Twisted Timber Ranch crew girl!

Of course my favorite color is black if you couldn’t tell! 😂 Added a new APHA mare to the herd today! I’ve been looking for a while now for a quiet mare to add as a recip but nothing came up close to home or that wasn’t so far over budget it just wasn’t justifiable. Then I got the opportunity to bring this girl home. Once she finishes her quarantine she will be introduced to Dixie & Dually in the big pasture.

Thank you Tiff for allowing me to add this sweet girl, she will be loved and spoiled! 🖤

Little Dually ain’t so little anymore, I have a 3 month old. 🥹

She has grown & changed so much! She has grown in size & bone tremendously since she was born! I also don’t think I have a grey baby but a very dark buckskin!

I waited on gettin her registered as i truly wasn’t sure what color she’d be or if her little white star would stay on her forehead and to my surprise it isn’t going to but her little nose spot is staying! Her mama Dixie did the same thing as a baby she is registered with a star but it only appears when she sheds her long winter hair then it’s gone again when she slicks out. Such a weird thing but Dually is so much like her mother personality wise and looks! She just has a TON more s***k & speed! Very proud of this filly!!

Got some much needed good news my heart needed today after the loss of loosing Quinn unexpectedly a week & half ago.

My Dixie “Hollys Easter Cash” was confirmed pregnant 19-20 days! Next check is heart beat confirmation.

This foal will be a full sibling to her current filly at her side, little Dually. If it’s a stud c**t it will be available for sale at weaning.

Thank you Dixie for being such an amazing mother to all your foals and bringing the much needed hope back into my little program. 🖤

Breeding & raising horses ain’t for the faint of heart.

With an extremely heavy heart sadly my little Quinn passed away while I was gone this past weekend to unknown causes, I went down to check them and found her laying like she fell asleep and never got up. My heart is shattered, I had such high hopes for her future. I put my heart and soul into her and to find her gone is something I’m struggling to wrap my head around. Tbh I’m a complete mess & trying to understand what went wrong these horses are like my children and to unexpectedly loose her has me a complete mess 💔😭 a year with you wasn’t nearly enough.

Quinn you were so special & im so sorry you never got to show the world that.

Such an amazing weekend with such great people! Couldn’t have asked to spend it doing anything else! Blessed to be around such great talented people that are supportive & kind!
