Got to do something pretty cool today!

Hosting a member of congress was a very cool experience and getting to share about our industry and the facts about issues we have was certainly a wonderful experience

This week, I got to spend time with local cattle ranchers at JS2 Cattle in Florida’s 7th District discussing the real challenges facing family-run ranching operations.

What started as a small family herd in the 1970s has grown into a multi-generation operation that now provides locally raised, farm-to-table beef for the community. Stories like this are a reminder of how deeply agriculture is rooted in Seminole County and across Central Florida.

Alongside leaders from Farm Credit, we discussed the economic pressures facing ranchers and the importance of policies that support producers, strengthen food supply chains, and protect the future of American agriculture.

These conversations matter. Hearing directly from the people who raise our food helps ensure I’m fighting for the needs of Florida’s 7th District in Congress.
