Cucumbers are finally looking good, those little pesky cucumber beetle wrecked havoc this year with our cucumbers. We choose not to spray, we try to use insect netting, but when the start flowering we need the bees to pollinate.

We trialed sweet potato this year...we will see 👀

After blistering, they taste smoky, savory, and slightly sweet, with a tender, soft flesh. High heat caramelizes their thin skin and brings out a mild, grassy, and vegetal brightness, which is usually enhanced with a sprinkle of sea salt and a splash of lemon 🍋 juice.😋
