Help us name our new buck fawn!

Our first piebald buck fawn was born today! He was born out of Kelly who is a piebald daughter of a piebald named Ozzie. The father is a buck named Black Ice (pictured below) who is Blackjack Fever’s brother… and they are sons out of Blackjack.

Buck Fever Whitetails is seeking a motivated intern currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Nursing program who has a passion for animal care, wildlife, and the outdoors.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working within a premier whitetail breeding and hunting operation in Northern Michigan.

Internship opportunities may include experience with:
• Fawn and breeder animal care
• Herd health management
• Feeding and nutrition programs
• Handling and observation of cervids
• Breeding and reproductive support
• Farm and ranch operations
• Wildlife and exotic animal experience

We are especially interested in candidates who may be looking for a long-term career opportunity after graduation, as we continue expanding our operation and team.
