One of the largest misconceptions we see frequently is that of yield. Whether it is through a processor or on your own, there are many factors in how much actually ends up in your freezer. Take proper care of your animal in the field, place shots properly and remove neck, brisket and flank. There is no mechanism to fix shot up, dirty, hairy, gut shot or temperature abused animals. Quality in, quality out.
