She wore a faded turquoise shirt,
Sun-bleached by years beneath the sky.
Her boots were cracked, her hands were worn,
But she never let hard times pass her by.

The wind knew every line on her face,
Each one earned through grit and grace.
She didn’t need silver or gold to shine—
Her strength was stitched into every mile.

She spoke plain, worked hard, and stood her ground,
The kind of soul that’s seldom found.
When the trail got rough, she’d tip her hat,
Smile a little, and keep riding at that.

Folks called her weathered, maybe old,
But they couldn’t measure the stories she told.
Because turquoise fades, leather cracks, and dust will fly—
