Marathon weekend is all I can say. If I never see a can of paint again, I'll be good. It is hard to believe that two weeks ago we were looking at studs and insulation. After a few go arounds with paint colors - yes, I repainted the hall area as well as the bathroom, all is good and everything is finished! Next steps will be installing shower, toilet and the vanity. Roger started staining the vanity today. Then we will work on window and door trim. Soaker tub will be later this fall, after flooring is installed. Wish it was going in sooner rather than later - my body could use it right about now!

Busy weekend! Started painting. Ceilings done except along the edges. 1st coat of paint up on walls but ran into issue in the bathroom. Decided I didn't like the paint color once things were done. Ugghh. Got new color today and was happy with how it looks! Now to make up for lost time.

Roger Goul and Bryan Brunk - Sheet rock guys said you did an amazing job with the work you completed. So much work goes into remodeling a house and sometimes it just seems like a bunch of tedious little things - which have to be done. Then the sheetrock goes up and instantly you get the WOW factor that makes it all worth it to see the "room" instead of the skeleton. I can picture us in here already. We might have a primary suite before that 40th anniversary! Mud and tape coming tomorrow!!
