🫚 🫚 🫚 It’s the first week of the season for young ginger, so hang out with us while we harvest our bumper crop, and then come check out these beauties in person at tomorrow’s market!!

We’re so excited to be back with our best crop in years, and we know it’ll go fast, so come get it while it lasts!

Pawpaws for the PEOPLE!!! Despite an early frost that whiped out 3/4 of our Pawpaw orchard we’re happy to share we will be bringing some to the The Baltimore Farmers’ Market tomorrow. They will go quick so the earlier you can make it the better. They seem to be coming in earlier than usual and we do not anticipate they will last longer than a few weeks.

Pawpaws are North America’s largest fruit that nobody knows about! While they never fit in to our modern day food assembly line prior to the rise of the African Banana they were quite popular. The fruit boasts a tropical fruit profile, think banana mango, and a custardy consistency. Jefferson and Washington had orchards, the American Indians would plant them intentionally and The Underground Railroad would rely on them during autumn trips. Don’t miss this local seasonal treat!!!

You have NO idea how much fun we have on Fridays making beautiful things for YOU!!! This week we are back baltimorefarmersmarket from 7am-noon with Young Ginger and PawPaws!!!! We’ll also have bunches of Dahlias, Statice, Celosia w/ Gomphrena, Marigolds, Veronica and the best Mixed bouquets you’ll find on the East Coast!!!

We’ll have Baltimore’s best mixed bouquets and bunches of Dahlias, Marigold, Strawflower, Veronica, Alstroemeria and SO much more 🥰

Sometimes it's better to put other people in charge of things that aren't your strengths. This year Karen has taken over our online orders and communications with customers. She is doing a fabulous job and our bulk bucket sales are way up this year due to her kind and patient spirit! A business owner doesn't have to be good at everything. Recognizing my weaknesses and other people's strength has been part of our farms success.

Side note: it's not that I'm not kind and patient but wearing so many hats as a business owner means I don't give as much attention as I should to any one thing. 😉

We’re taking a break!!! This week The Baltimore Farmers Market will be our last until Sunday August 2nd. 😳 We love our market friends but July is consistently our slowest month and this will allow for our team to recharge after a crazy spring and not feel like we have to push thru the heat to keep Sundays going.

This week we have our normal display of mixed bouquets with BUNCHES of Dahlias, Campanula, Strawflower, Snapdragons, Veronica and Lavender. Plus a bountiful Build your own display. Hope to see all our friends!!!
