If you missed a chance to stop by Johnston's Home Center in Benton Saturday, or the farm store this weekend, or when you were at Johnston’s if the table was empty—I brought some more baked goods to town this morning.

Johnston’s Home Center is located at 1421 Military Rd in Benton AR and open 9am - 6pm.

I want to thank everyone that came out this past weekend to see me and visit the farm.

It’s always so extremely humbling to have you all choose to stop by, spend time with us and help support my dreams.

The weens and I enjoyed the cooler early mornings as if fall is so close you can feel it.

Leanna’s kids came both days, and the girls did some volunteering in the store to gain some experience and earn some hours. Of course they had to get some love from the mini moos.

They took the pictures and sent them in the aftermath of course (so don’t even come at me sideways—kids that are comfortable in their environment will do things), 🫣😂 I told then as sweet as Merlin and KC are—not to be climbing on them just in case. They are still cattle and can still hurt them. But, it does warm my heart to know that the lineage I’m breeding is patient and kind.

I knew my grass puppies were sweet, loving snacks and pets….. but to see this behavior daily and know it’s more often than not that’s how they act. I’m proud of them.

Life is hard enough, I’m not gonna take joy from anyone if I can help it, I’ll do my part to keep everyone I can safe—but I was that kid and I climbed on way wilder animals just because I could. 😂 So, this weekend we have some pictures, they had fun, they’re safe, we all learned that teen girls volunteering will make everyone giggle, and sometimes just the visiting in the store is worth every ounce of sweat and sleepless night.

I’ll never not be amazed by everyone of you that help make this dream come true.

Thank you.

Current bid is now $500 on the silent auction quilt….

Auction goes until September 12

**Update: CURRENT BID— $500**

🏈 HOG WILD QUILT SILENT AUCTION STARTS TODAY! 🏈

Calling all Razorback fans! I’ve got something pretty special up for grabs at Little Bitty Farm. Starting today, August 17, bidding is officially open on this beautiful handmade Arkansas Razorbacks quilt, generously donated by Woven Threads Studio!

This gorgeous quilt measures approximately 69” × 85”, and the handiwork on it is absolutely beautiful. With Razorback red, black and white throughout, it couldn’t have come at a better time with football season right around the corner.

🐗 HOW THE SILENT AUCTION WORKS

Starting bid: $100

Bids must increase by at least $10 each time.

To place a bid, you can:

🐗 Bid in person at the Little Bitty Farm Store during store hours.

🐗 Bid online by sending me a private message with your name, phone number and bid amount.

I’ll keep one master bid sheet and will post updates with the current high bid throughout the auction. Bidder names and contact information will remain private.

A FEW AUCTION RULES

• All bids are considered binding, so please only bid if you intend to purchase the quilt if you win.

• The highest valid bid when bidding closes wins the quilt.

• The winning bidder will be contacted and will have 48 hours to complete payment and arrange pickup. If the purchase isn’t completed within that time, the quilt may be offered to the next-highest bidder.

• To keep things fair at closing, if a new valid bid comes in during the final 5 minutes, bidding will be extended another 5 minutes from that bid. This will continue until 5 full minutes pass without another valid bid.

The quilt will be on display at the Little Bitty Farm Store throughout the auction, so come by and see it in person. The picture really doesn’t do the handiwork justice!

And a huge THANK YOU to Woven Threads Studio for donating such a beautiful handmade piece. Their generosity made this auction possible, and I’m excited to see which Razorback fan gets to take it home.

So now the only question is…

How bad do you want it? 👀🐗

It’s almost time for another weekend at the farm, and after having the store closed last weekend, I’m especially ready to see everyone again.

The shelves will be filled back up with the things you’ve come to expect around here — homemade jellies, handmade items, Little Bitty Farm Tales books, garden goodies as they’re available, and plenty coming out of the kitchen.

This week’s bakery lineup includes:

🍞 Rustic Farmhouse — my simple, classic sourdough loaf that goes with just about anything.

Jalapeño Cheddar — cheesy, savory and just enough jalapeño to give it a little kick.

Cinnamon Raisin Sunrise — a longtime favorite filled with cinnamon and raisins. Toast it, add a little butter, and you’ve got a pretty good morning.

Cinnamon Hearth — warm, cozy cinnamon baked into a soft homemade loaf. This one was made for slow mornings.

Harvest Orchard — one of my fall-inspired loaves, full of warm orchard flavors that taste like the beginning of a new season.

Midnight Meadow — rich, chocolatey and somewhere between bread and dessert. If you’re a chocolate person, this is the one I’d tell you to try at least once.

Porch Side Rosemary — savory rosemary throughout and perfect with supper, soup, pasta or a little seasoned olive oil.

Rustic Tuscan — an Italian-inspired savory loaf that makes a pretty great addition to pasta night.

There will also be fresh cinnamon rolls and five different kinds of cookies this weekend… and there might be another baked good or two that finds its way onto the shelves before I’m finished. You know how bake day goes around here.

And there’s something NEW happening this Saturday that I’m really excited about.

The Johnston family has graciously offered me space at their store, Johnston's Home Center at 1421 Military Rd in Benton so I can bring a little bit of Little Bitty Farm into town and give everyone another, more convenient place to find me.

I’ll be set up there Saturday during their 9–5 hours. While you’re there, take some time to look around their store too — they have fabric and sewing supplies, appliances, furniture, equipment and all kinds of other things to browse through. I’m incredibly thankful to them for opening up their space to my little farm.

And don’t forget about the handmade Arkansas Razorback quilt silent auction! If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you take a look while you’re visiting and get your bid in.

🥾 Boot Prints are going strong, too. Every $10 you spend earns a Boot Print toward your rewards, so don’t forget your card when you come see me.

As always, you’re welcome to come out to the farm, visit the animals, wander through the store and stay for a little while. I hope when you come here it feels a lot more like visiting a friend than going shopping.

People have asked how I do all the things I do…..

Lol I stay up really late some nights. Tonight I finished at 1:07……and I got to see the eclipse for just a couple of minutes.

All of this weekend’s sourdough things are doing their final rise, for me to start baking in the morning.

Full line up will be posted after I go to sleep and wake back up. 😂😂

I’m not gonna lie…..

I have been experimenting in the kitchen for a while and some things come out delicious, some not good or some are just ok……

My current FAVORITE bread loaf to mix though, are my Harvest Orchard and Midnight Meadow…..

Maybe it’s the new of them, I’m not sure….

Just the smell of rich chocolate and sourdough starter makes my mouth water….

But that Harvest Orchard loaf…..Y’all…..it does something I can’t explain….

The smell, the texture, even just the look of it….it gives me a feeling of pride in a way I never dreamed bread could….

I hate so much I didn’t create this before losing both of my grandparents in the last year-ish…..I think they both would have loved this one.

Midnight Meadow—makes me think of a a sneaky sweet treat, one that your parents would side eye you for eating some of, but laugh because it’s not the worst thing you could be eating…..

Harvest Orchard—FEELS like going to Grandma’s as a kid. How her house smelled of apples and cinnamon in the fall but you never could explain it. How homemade apple pies always look prettier than then Taste of Home pictures.

I don’t know….I still love mixing up dough for all my other loaves, and the smell of those garden fresh jalapenos being added…..but today I realized, these two just bring me extra joy right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The oven is fixed. Dough is rising. The kitchen has been cleaned. Other goodies are being planned. Tomorrow I bake…..

I guess I’ll think about what’s for dinner now. 😂🫣 that’s my current for right now.

The repair guy just left….

Back in business yall!!

He was able to get all the parts and fix my oven so I’ll be filling it soon with delicious things for this weekend! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Talk about a huge relief 😅

Now to finish prepping and planning what all to bake

Dobby has become very much a Velcro puppy the last couple of months. I can’t get out of eyesight. He’s always been a cuddle pup, but these days…..he is basically glued to me. Even eating, I have to be in the room 😂🫣🤦🏼‍♀️. He’s a good boy, he just wants all my attention and oddly enough, I’m here for it.
