It’s almost time for another weekend at the farm, and after having the store closed last weekend, I’m especially ready to see everyone again.
The shelves will be filled back up with the things you’ve come to expect around here — homemade jellies, handmade items, Little Bitty Farm Tales books, garden goodies as they’re available, and plenty coming out of the kitchen.
This week’s bakery lineup includes:
🍞 Rustic Farmhouse — my simple, classic sourdough loaf that goes with just about anything.
Jalapeño Cheddar — cheesy, savory and just enough jalapeño to give it a little kick.
Cinnamon Raisin Sunrise — a longtime favorite filled with cinnamon and raisins. Toast it, add a little butter, and you’ve got a pretty good morning.
Cinnamon Hearth — warm, cozy cinnamon baked into a soft homemade loaf. This one was made for slow mornings.
Harvest Orchard — one of my fall-inspired loaves, full of warm orchard flavors that taste like the beginning of a new season.
Midnight Meadow — rich, chocolatey and somewhere between bread and dessert. If you’re a chocolate person, this is the one I’d tell you to try at least once.
Porch Side Rosemary — savory rosemary throughout and perfect with supper, soup, pasta or a little seasoned olive oil.
Rustic Tuscan — an Italian-inspired savory loaf that makes a pretty great addition to pasta night.
There will also be fresh cinnamon rolls and five different kinds of cookies this weekend… and there might be another baked good or two that finds its way onto the shelves before I’m finished. You know how bake day goes around here.
And there’s something NEW happening this Saturday that I’m really excited about.
The Johnston family has graciously offered me space at their store, Johnston's Home Center at 1421 Military Rd in Benton so I can bring a little bit of Little Bitty Farm into town and give everyone another, more convenient place to find me.
I’ll be set up there Saturday during their 9–5 hours. While you’re there, take some time to look around their store too — they have fabric and sewing supplies, appliances, furniture, equipment and all kinds of other things to browse through. I’m incredibly thankful to them for opening up their space to my little farm.
And don’t forget about the handmade Arkansas Razorback quilt silent auction! If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you take a look while you’re visiting and get your bid in.
🥾 Boot Prints are going strong, too. Every $10 you spend earns a Boot Print toward your rewards, so don’t forget your card when you come see me.
As always, you’re welcome to come out to the farm, visit the animals, wander through the store and stay for a little while. I hope when you come here it feels a lot more like visiting a friend than going shopping.
