Hey everyone.

Just a reminder of what this month looks like…..

Pre-orders only can be picked up at the farm this weekend, otherwise you’ll have to plan to see me at either the Neighbors at the Table even Friday night or Johnston’s Home Center Saturday.

This time of year is always hectic, and this year isn’t showing to be any different….. so please bear with me

October is going to look a little different around Little Bitty Farm, so I wanted to share the calendar early and make it easy to know where to find me this month. 🍂

For the first few weekends, the farm store will be closed for regular shopping, but you can still find Little Bitty Farm goodies at Johnston’s in Benton on Saturdays from 9–5.

And if you’ve been worried about missing your favorites, don’t worry! Pre-order pickups WILL be available at the farm store on October 10th and 17th, even though the store won’t be open for regular shopping those weekends. Just watch those preorder deadlines so I can have everything ready and waiting for you.

I’ll also be at Neighbors at the Table in Benton on Friday, October 9th from 5–10 PM, so come find me there!

Then toward the end of the month, the farm store opens back up:

October 24: Farm Store 10–4 | Johnston’s 9–5
October 25: Farm Store 10–4
October 31: Farm Store 10–8 | Johnston’s 9–5 — plus Trick or Treating at the Farm! 🎃

All of the preorder deadlines, special hours and events are on the calendar above, so save it somewhere handy.

It’s going to be a little bit of a traveling month for Little Bitty Farm, but there will still be plenty of homemade bread, cookies, rolls and other farm goodies to go around. I appreciate y’all following me wherever I happen to set up — and I’m looking forward to a really fun October. 🤍

When walking home at 8:30 pm on a late September night gives you some extra feelings….

I can remember when I prayed for just the chance to pause again and be able to see the simple beauty around me….

I think about how I bargained for the moment to just slow down when I wanted……

I wonder the conversation I would have with 2020 me if possible…..

Because, I know this time last year’s me, was learning to breathe…..

Today’s me, is grateful for the choices that got me to this very moment…..

As I walked home I watched the clouds over the moon, dance and come to life…..I saw the night sky deepen into a peaceful darkness that can only be understood away from streetlights.

I stared as stars played hide and seek with clouds and the wind blew lightly……

My life, these dreams, this home, the farm, critters, family, friends…..all something special and wonderful. Something magical.

I even made a new pumpkin cookie and yall….. 🤤 it’s good.

Saturday is looking like a good day for something homemade. The farm store is open TODAY, and I’ll also have Little Bitty Farm baked goods available at Johnston’s Home Center in Benton, so you can choose whichever stop works best for you.

Here’s what came out of the kitchen this week:

BREADS
Rustic Farmhouse — my classic, simple homemade loaf
Cinnamon Raisin Sunshine — cinnamon, raisins, and made for a little butter
Cinnamon Hearth — soft, sweet and full of warm cinnamon
Midnight Meadow — rich chocolate bread that lands somewhere between bread and dessert
Farmhouse Fire — jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and paprika for a savory little kick
Harvest Orchard — warm fall flavors packed into one cozy loaf

ROLLS
Classic Cinnamon Rolls
🎃 Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls — because it’s officially time to start sneaking pumpkin into everything.

And the cookie jar is looking pretty good, too…

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sweater Weather Cookies — my white chocolate pumpkin snickerdoodles, and about as fall as a cookie can get.

You’ll also find the usual Little Bitty Farm goodies at the farm — homemade jellies, fresh eggs when available, handmade items, books, Boot Prints rewards, and plenty of animals who are always happy to have company.

Look for the blue building behind the house. Follow the driveway between the house and green barn, and it’ll bring you right to the store porch.
