This land has been ranched for over 150 years.
These photos were taken right here in Clay County, Texas. 1888 through the 1920s. Cowboys, horses, cattle, and the same North Texas sky that sits over the ranch today.
The Chisholm Trail ran just a few miles east of here. Cattle drives rested their herds along the Red River banks before pushing north. This corner of Texas has always been cattle country.
Wellborn 2R sits on 8,300 acres in Henrietta, just a few miles west of the 98th Meridian, the line that separates the Eastern United States from the West. Great Plains ranching. The real thing.
Grass-fed, grain-finished Black Angus. Raised the way it has always been done out here. No hormones. No antibiotics. Ever.
