Sirocco Ridge Farm Sustainably and humanely grown livestock, no-till and innovative field raised beds, based on permacul These all describe our farm.

Sirocco Ridge Farm LLC...sustainable, no added chemicals, no-till, and innovative field raised beds. We are proud to provide produce and chickens, all grown and processed on our farm. From our horses and llamas that produce the makings of compost, to the chickens that produce eggs and meat while free ranging to manage the insects and parasites, it all starts with local hay and grass, a complete circle from local sources.

Our goats graze land in Henryville, Indiana, that the Shawnee, Miami (Myaamia), and Delaware (Lenape) peoples lived on and cared for long before us. Most were forced out in the early 1800s. Their descendants are still here, in Oklahoma, Kansas, and elsewhere.

We chose dairy goats ten years ago because of what they do for soil and biodiversity, and we measure both regularly. That work is only a small part of a much longer story of people tending this ground. We're grateful to be part of it, and we're trying to leave the land better than we found it.
