☺️Want to feel immeasurable joy?? Sponsor hay for rescued animals!

We are getting our first hard frost any day now here in the Finger Lakes of New York. That means that the grass will soon be dormant and every meal for many of our 150 rescued animals will be hay. We need 1,000 bales for winter 😳

🎉And this week WE HAVE A MATCH! That means that every $10 donated this week buys TWO bales instead of just one!

Can’t donate right now?? Share, comment, engage, tell your friends ❤️ As a nonprofit, we can’t do what we do without you. Thank you 😊

🙏We are almost halfway to our goal! We need 1,000 bales of hay to feed all our rescued animals during the 5 months the grass is sleeping. That is a huge responsibility and a huge goal. We can only do what we do because of our amazing supporters.

🐷Dusk is a 700-pound Yorkshire pig with malformed feet. Her care isn’t an event — it’s a standing appointment with the rest of her life.

For years, her care records lived in spreadsheets, folders, and databases that simply didn’t do what we needed them to.

That’s not a Sweet Farm problem. It’s nearly every sanctuary we know, because the software exists for places like farms or vet clinics or city shelters assumes animals arrive and leave (or worse). Our rescued animals arrive and stay the rest of their lives…which can be anywhere from one to twenty years! That’s a lot of records. And a lot of wasted time trying to make the wrong software work for us.

🤲 So we built our own. And now we’re giving it away — free, to any nonprofit sanctuary, rescue, or shelter that wants it.
Swipe to see it in action! ➡️

Animal Health Dashboard surfaces tasks and alerts.

Alerts show at the top with photos and details for each animal.

🛠️ Facilities projects finally have a place for requests, approvals, budgeting, and tracking!

🪕 We have the most amazing volunteers! Their dedication, hard work, reliability, and love is how we are able to do so much! Thank you to Sam for being one of a kind! ❤️

Animals need enrichment just like you or your pets. While we work so hard to keep everyone safe and healthy, it can be difficult to find time for enrichment. So when someone asks if they can do something to (safely) entertain our rescued animals, we always say yes!
