🍓 There’s a lot more to growing strawberries than planting them and picking them!
Strawberries are a high-risk crop for fungal diseases, including Neopestalotiopsis (NeoP). These diseases can spread quickly and, in severe cases, destroy an entire crop.
The varieties we plant have good disease resistance, but resistance doesn’t mean immunity. That’s why prevention starts early—long before there’s a ripe berry in sight.
We monitor our plants closely and take every precaution we can to keep them healthy. And one thing we want our customers to know: we would never put something on our plants that we believed could harm your family. ❤️
We use the least amount needed to protect the crop, and especially once berries start developing, we’re extra mindful about what we use and when we use it.
We love growing strawberries, but we also take the responsibility of growing food for your family very seriously. 🍓❤️
There’s a whole lot of care that goes into every berry you pick from Sweet Harvest Farm. 🌱
