Hope Orchards Apple and Pear Orchard in Hope, Maine We are a small family owned orchard. We grow 20 varieties of apples and 3 varieties of pears. O

Pick Your Own and already picked apples are available from mid-September to late October. We make unpasteurized c***r in mid to late October, IF we have enough volume of c***r apples. We pledge to only spray our fruit with the safest sprays available and to not spray any organophosphate pesticides.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our fall festival event last weekend, vendors and attendees. We feel so lucky to be a part of this community!

This weekend we will open up our Golden and Red Delicious, Northern Spy, and Golden Russets. Don’t let that fool you though because there are mountains of Macoun, Empire, and Spartans left. Not to mention the Macintosh and Cortland.

At the stand are some of our favorite specialty varieties including Cox’s Orange Pippen, Black Oxford, Spencer, Caville Blanc, Ashmead’s Kernel, and Snowsweet. Come on down for a sample and find a new favorite!

Looking like it’s gonna be a nice weekend. Leaves are near peak? Who cares, the Macouns are peak! 🤪

U-pick this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9-5. Macoun, Empire, and Spartan are ready. Plus crimson crisp, Spencer, cortland, and Macintosh. And we haven’t gotten all the pears picked so we will open them up to U-pick customers until they run out!

Wow, what a gorgeous weekend it has been! We are open today until 5, and we have the first of our pear variety, Magness available. We also have a specialty apple variety called Autumn Crisp available in our farm stand. Plus a great shiitake crop!

And don’t forget, next weekend we’ll be celebrating of fall festival. Sunday October 11th 10-4. Come on down for pie and ice cream! Or maybe a c***r ice cream float?!?

Calling all sauce makers!

We have got a super crop of apples this year, in particular these Paula red. On sale now, 75 cents per pound for the Paula red only. These have been bred for a small core and a sweet tart balance that makes an excellent sauce, c***r, or baked good!

We also have cortland, Macintosh, ginger gold, and Honeycrisp. U-Pick, bagged apples, and utility apples. 9-5 today, Saturday, and Sunday
