These two boy deserve a highlight!

These boys are shown on lease and the kids have done a fantastic job with them! As luck would have it Jett (Weston’s) buckling is turning out to be just a whole lot of buck mentally making showing him a big rodeo for that little boy! None the less Jett consistently hangs tight as a close runner up to Elvis (Caroline’s buck)!

Elvis I knew was special from the moment he hit the ground! He has not disappointed in the show ring! This buckling has a bright future ahead of him as he just has all the pieces! In his first 5 shows he’s made it to 5 jr Buck drives, won 2 grand jr Buck drives, and placed 2 times in an over all Nigerian buck drive! He’s only 5 months old! We can not wait to see where these boys go with their careers!

In our barn, on our Doe side, this genetic line has been our most consistent and strongest show quality line! On Saturday our senior doe Cookie Baby took home Grand Overall Nigerian Dwarf which was a first time award in our barn! Her time to shine didn’t stop there! She took Caroline for her very first trip into the Supreme Dairy Goat drive and… WON! For those still learning that means she was awarded the best dairy goat out of all of the breeds that day!

The very next day her doeling Whisper entered the ring and was awarded Reserve Overall Nigerian Dwarf and Reserve Bayou Certified Overall Nigerian Dwarf!

It’s a pair that deserved their own post and a genetic line to pause and congratulation! The does where purchased together from Poirier Farms and we couldn’t be more happy that we made the quick last minute decision to add them to our truck while there buying other stock a few months ago! Having them in our barn is such an honor!

I do not think we will forget this show ever! The kids and their herd showed up and showed out!!

We had SIX out of NINE make it to a final drive and THREE of those six PLACE in the final drive!! It didn’t stop there! Our doe Cookie Baby WON Supreme Dairy Doe!

We celebrated with all our friends and family that came out to see the kids show at a rare local show close to home!

Some of you may not know this but I’ve been helping my dad out in his design space playing with all his fancy laser machines! One of my favorite things to create are brand hat patches!
