Memorial Day weekend is behind us, but the long-weekend energy can stay—enjoy an Indian-inspired dinner for two at home this weekend.

Our Chicken Biryani features Fisher Hill Farm chicken layered with basmati rice and warm spices, finished with herbs and fried onions. On the side: Indian wedding rice (fragrant basmati with whole spices and fried onions), raita (cool, creamy yogurt sauce with cucumber and herbs), garlic roti, and soft mithai (Indian-style donuts) with seasonal fruit preserves.

Vegetarian option available: Tofu Biryani.

Pickup at Farmhouse Table Shop (4892 St. Paul Blvd, Irondequoit): Friday 3–6 p.m. or Saturday 12–6 p.m., with Saturday delivery available across Greater Rochester.

First up: the classic Mother’s Day Brunch Box, with farm fresh eggs, house-cured bacon, sweet potato hash with smoked brisket, coffee cake, and a half-pint of house-made jam.
