Do you guys remember that pretty pink package of eggs we got a few weeks back?! Here they are hatched🐣! These are black mottled, chocolate mottled, and black silkies we got from Maria formerly MW Farms. At the time I did not know we were receiving the last of the legacy of her work and to me that makes these babies all that more special and makes me truly cherish having the opportunity to work with them 🥰. Silkies originally entered the scene here due to my kiddo loving them and wanting some however they have quickly grown on me and I love them just as much! I can now say I understand the craze 🤪. We are hoping to offer them as chicks and eggs this coming fall as we guide my son in this project and allow him to learn the responsibility that comes along with the process. It has been raining so much here and while Florida desperately needs it, it made it difficult to do a photo shoot with these babies and truly showcase their beauty. I hope you can still enjoy what I was able to capture of them in between the rain! We are smitten 😍 with them, thank you again Maria for sharing your precious babies with us!
