Copia Farm

Copia Farm Copia Farm is a small Regenerative Farm that produces real food for healthy people!

At Copia, we witnessed something incredible.

As powerful storms rolled through Ohio, this tiny robin family held on through wind, rain, and uncertainty.

What started as a nest of beautiful blue eggs became a story of resilience, survival, and new life.

Against the odds, these little ones hatched and continued to grow, safely tucked among the branches.

It’s a reminder that even in life’s storms, hope finds a way.

Nature never ceases to amaze us. 🐦💙🌿

Every mother wants to know where her family’s food comes from.

We understand that because we’re parents too.

When we started Copia Farm, we wanted to raise food the way we believe it should be raised—with care, transparency, and respect for the animals and the land.

That’s why our chickens spend their days on pasture.

We move them regularly to fresh grass where they can forage, scratch, chase bugs, and soak up the sunshine.

When we walk through the pasture each day, we’re reminded that healthy food starts long before it reaches the table.

It starts with healthy soil.

It starts with animals being allowed to live naturally.

And it starts with farmers who believe that how food is raised matters.

We know you have choices when it comes to feeding your family.

We’re grateful that you trust us to be part of that story.

Till the Cows Come Home: Part 2 of the Epic 1.4 Mile Journey Back to the Farm

After an unforgettable trek down Clover Valley Rd., the cows officially made it safely back home thanks to the hard work of Amanda and Caitlin. Every cow was milked, settled in, and very happy to be back where they belong.

Fresh milk is flowing again, and to celebrate, milk is on sale for just $10 per gallon through Memorial Day weekend.

PART 1 — THE STORM

Nobody expected the creek to rise this fast.

After torrential downpours flooded the valley, our dairy herd was stranded across the creek — cut off from the milking barn and trapped on the wrong side of the water.

Wet and scared, they needed to get back home. It’s not a good idea not milk a dairy cow.

What followed was a 4.5 hour rescue mission in relentless rain.

A 1.4 mile cattle drive.
Two road crossings.
Half a dozen neighboring properties.
One raw milk dairy herd trying to get home.

This was mud, rain, exhaustion, and determination.

Part 2 tomorrow.

THE PIG AND THE TOAD

A single thriving wallow can produce thousands of American toads in just a few weeks.

Now scale that across a 10-acre pig preserve—with multiple flourishing wallows—and you’re looking at tens of thousands of frogs returning to the land each year.

And they don’t just exist… they work.

One adult toad can eat hundreds of insects per night—mosquitoes, flies, beetles, even ticks at ground level.

Multiply that by thousands, and you’ve created a living pest control system—no chemicals, just ecology doing its job.

This is what happens when farming works with nature.

The result isn’t just food.

It’s habitat. It’s balance. It’s fewer pests—naturally.

We said goodbye to an old barn… and hello to something we’ve been dreaming about.
