Savannah and Pepper have been on a roll lately, and this team ended up winning the Youth High-Point title again this past weekend. We are so proud of the progress they both have made in such a short time.

The season’s not over yet, and they have some big goals for 2027. The hard work has just begun!

Caroline struggled with the timing of the turnaround on her own horse, so we put her on our 2-year-old stud c**t to experience what it’s supposed to feel like. “RJ” was such a good teacher!

This c**t is a full brother to our 2026 SBF entry, and we expect him to do big things just like his big brother.

We knew the perfect place for “Fisher” to end up after he came to us on consignment. He will be a star in the Double K Farm program!

We can’t wait to see all of his success in the show pen.

Thank you to Kim Riddle for trusting us with this sale!

Surprise!

We added another bay to our bunch! Thank you to Emily and Larry for helping put this one together and knowing he would be a good fit for us. We’re excited to have him join the program and see what he brings to the table.

Welcome to Double K, Fisher! 🤎

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 “𝐨𝐧-𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥”.

Hoof health is a top priority in this program, and if Larry sees something he doesn’t like, that horse marches right into the farrier shop.

We don’t have to wait 6 weeks until the farrier comes again. We target the problem right away to get that horse back on their feet. Literally.

Having a strong relationship with your veterinarian is paramount for your horse’s success in the show pen.

Yesterday, we traveled to Southern Equine Service to see Dr. Carter for an evaluation of 3 of our athletes.

Not only did he address key areas of discomfort, but he also provided feedback on our farrier work to ensure each horse had the shoe package they needed to do their job comfortably.

You can’t cut corners when it comes to your horse’s health. They work hard for you, and in turn it’s your responsibility to take care of their bodies.

Toni Arnette and Nicole Stefanides better get some Velcro before their next ride 🤣 Goose and Oakley are going to feel invincible!

Thank you to Christopher Leigh and Renata Wendelowski for tagging along!

This weekend, we got a visit from one of our favorite people.

We met Julia about 2 years ago at our Tennessee training facility. She was a pretty green rider then, but despite her experience, she had her sights set on one big goal: winning a buckle.

Since then, she’s won 2 buckles and 3 year-end high-point titles all with our 20-year-old mare Phyllis.

Every now and then, her busy schedule allows her to come down to SC for a weekend to ride and we’re always blown away by the skill and knowledge she retains. She’s a natural rider and has such a great connection with any horse she hops on. (Shout out to Mom for being the DD ✊🏼)

She may not get to ride often, but when she does, she makes it count, and because of her drive, talent, and work ethic, we’ll keep creating opportunity for her.

A very heartfelt “thank you” goes to Kathy Clymer for letting Julia take her 3y/o mare “Bailey” for a spin on this trip. They had a blast together 💛.

𝘕𝘰… 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.

“Warrior” is a thoroughbred gelding that came to us 1 month ago for a quick tune up so he and his youth rider can go crush it in the hunter ring.

Not only has he developed a softer feel, just LOOK at his coat, his topline, his rib cover!!!

We’re not lying when we say we take nutrition seriously. Healthy horses are happy horses.

Thanks to his owner for choosing us to further his education! We hate to see him go, but can’t wait to see the win pictures 🏆💪🏼
