Rolling H Ranch

08/24/2026

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of one of our amazing Rolling H Cattlemen, Joe Alcorn. While our hearts are heavy with his loss, we praise God knowing that Joe is now with Jesus.

Please keep his sweet family in your prayers as they walk through this difficult and painful time. May they feel God’s comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.

Ride fast with the angels, Brother. You will be deeply missed, but you will never be forgotten.

Until we meet again, Joe. Rest in peace. 🤠❤️🙏

As I sit back this morning and reflect, I’m overwhelmed by how truly blessed we are to have such an incredible sorting family and so many wonderful friends. Another Rolling H Shootout is in the books, and once again, it did NOT disappoint!

Thank you to every rider and spectator who chose to spend your weekend with us. This event was a success because of YOU!

This weekend we paid out just shy of $46,000 in cash and awarded 21 beautiful Rolling H Shootout championship buckles! Congratulations to all of our champions and finalists!

None of this would have been possible without our amazing staff who kept everything running smoothly all weekend long. A special thank you to our outstanding judge, Clinton Carl, for joining us for the third year in a row, and to our two wonderful office gals, Michelle Kennedy and Emily Kennedy, who always keep things organized.

Thank you as well to our gate crew, Greg Ego, Darren Paschke, and Ronda Paschke, and last—but certainly not least—our incredible cattle crew, who set a new standard with record-breaking fast cattle changes all weekend!

We are also incredibly grateful for our generous sponsors:
• South Sound Honda, Suzuki & Polaris – Dale and Vicki Gray
• CW Walker & Associates
• Patrick Witham
• Greg Ego

Saturday night was, without a doubt, one of the most meaningful moments of the weekend. We had the privilege of witnessing six incredible individuals publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. This is what Rolling H is all about. We love providing an opportunity for people to take that next step in their walk with the Lord, and there is no greater reward than celebrating those life-changing moments together.

Finally, a huge shout-out to my beautiful wife, Amy, and our two amazing daughters for always believing in me and supporting all of my crazy ideas. I couldn’t do any of this without your love, encouragement, and countless sacrifices.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who helped make the 2026 Rolling H Shootout such an unforgettable weekend.

Stay tuned… there are even more exciting things ahead at Rolling H!

God Bless,

The 2026 John Ludwick Most Inspirational Award was presented to a man who truly embodies what this award represents.

Hardworking. Selfless. Generous. Encouraging. And, most importantly, a man of God.

This weekend, after helping six individuals take the next step in their walk with the Lord through baptism, it was only fitting to recognize Matt Hogan as this year’s recipient.

Matt leads by example, serves others with a humble heart, and lives out his faith in a way that inspires everyone around him. His impact reaches far beyond the arena, and we are incredibly grateful for the example he sets.

Congratulations, Matt Hogan, on being named the 2026 John Ludwick Most Inspirational Award recipient. Your servant’s heart and unwavering faith make you truly deserving of this honor. 🤍✝️
