The Keauhou Farmers Market is sponsored by the Kona County Farm Bureau. The Kona County Farm Bureau is a non-profit organization representing the agricultural community of North and South Kona districts. Its membership is dedicated to improving the quality of life on farms, ranches, and their rural communities. The Kona chapter is a member of the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation, which represents agricultural interests statewide. The Hawaii Farm Bureau is also a member of the American Farm Bureau Federation, representing 5.6 million famres and ranchers at the national and international level. As a not-for-profit, the Kona County Farm Bureau began the Keauhou Farmers Market in order to provide our farmers with an outlet from which to directly market their products. From the larger perspective, a true "Farmers Market" serves as a powerful educational tool for expanding community awareness and building upon the general public's preference for agricultural products grown and freshly harvested on the Island of Hawai'i. As the Keauhou Farmers Market begins the sixth year in operation, it continues to prosper within what is a transformative moment in the history of food that is grabbing hold all across the country, reflected by both today's consumers as well as farmers. By committing to the growth of more community-oriented food systems we can serve to advance Island prosperity in the following ways:

*provides fresh, healthy, and affordable ways to eat
*reduces our energy needs and our carbon footprint

Come down to the Keauhou Farmers Market on Saturday October 31st for our annual FREE Pumpkin Carving & Candy Crawl! Bring your ʻohana for a fantastic Saturday celebration! We'll have a pumpkin carving and decoration station beginning at 9am until pumpkins run out! Take home your free pumpkin and trick or treat through the market! Costumes are welcome!! Get your weekly dose of farm fresh finds with live music all morning!
The Keauhou Farmers Market is open from 7:45am-12pm every Saturday in the Keauhou Shopping Plaza. Hope to see you there!

Sweet papayas are available every weekend at the Keauhou Farmers Market! Stop by Saturdays from 8am -12pm and get your haul! We have white pineapple at the Keauhou Farmers Market!🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 This fantastic fruit is a specialty of the Big Island. It has a short season and begins to ripen in August. You can usually still find a few throughout September, but they won't last much longer! White pineapples are extra sweet with low acidity! They are perfect for snacks, grilling, drinks, and all around good times! Enjoy a white pineapple this weekend at the Keauhou Farmers Market! We are open every Saturday from 8am-12pm in the Keauhou Shopping Plaza with live music and amazing farmers from across Hawaii Island.

Join us June 20th starting at 9am for a special Father’s Day celebration honoring our Makuakāne!

The first 100 dads in the market will receive FREE drink vouchers (up to $7 value) available from 9am–12pm or while supplies last. Please help us keep things sustainable by bringing your own cup if possible. Bring the whole ohana and enjoy a relaxed Saturday morning filled with local flavors, fresh produce, handmade goods, fisherman’s catch, baked treats, and live music that brings the spirit of the Big Island to life.
