Watch close as this baby flies out.
Most people talk about how pygmy goats are horrible at kidding but this is why the Unicorns on leash line stays in my herd. This was automatically captured by my barn camera.

My 3 registered Nigerian does
TRIXIE - ANGEL -FLAN

Trixie was purchased in milk to start me on my cheese making adventure. She had cross bred twins last March that are almost ready for the freezer. She fed a lot of bottle babies plus gave me extra for cheese or yogurt this summer. She is bred to kid in February and not currently milking. She is going to have some cross babies again.

ANGEL is a fancy bred doe that I purchased hours old to graph onto a pygmy momma who lost her baby. She identifies as a pygmy 😁. I even showed her this spring. I took her back to her breeder to get bred and she had a set of quads in August. She gives me almost a half gallon of milk a day. Im going to milk her until next fall and then breed her again.

FLAN is Angels fancy little doe baby that will be the first Nigerian in my herd name. She also identifies as a Pygmy. She is so adorable and its fun to have a little color in the pasture. I will let the Nigerian breeder help me make a decision on if she needs bred to a Nigerian or if I get some more crossbreds for the freezer.

Just FYI there will never be a Nigerian buck on my place over 6 weeks old!

We got a tree permit just in case we didn't find a sagebrush. Since we did get the sagebrush for a Christmas tree we went up today and cut a real tree for the goats. They love pine tree almost as much as leaves

Well this little exercise posting my goat or goats of the day has made me realize I have kept too many T babies (2025). I will probably have 2 or 3 up for sale to show/breeding homes only.

Goat of the day #2
BREEDING CC HUDSONS TIGERLILLY
Sire: MCH PGCH POLK SPRINGS HUDSON
Dam: PANTHER CREEK LOUIS POPPY (11/24/25)

Last but definitely not least is TIGERLILLY. Since she is out of one of my favorite does and my last Hudson baby so she is a for sure a keeper! Plus she is really pretty. Only a few weeks old but she has muscle and bone that is very promising. I also love the caramels.

Tiramisu is a great granddaughter to Ajay. Her dam was one of the quintuplets. She is a cute, sweet little thing right now. We will see how she grows. I have a soft spot for the dark caramels.
