What an incredible evening at the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion! ⚜️👨‍🍳

Last night, Captain Coby had the incredible honor of preparing dinner for Governor Jeff Landry, First Lady Sharon Landry, and their guests!

From our Cajun kitchen to the Governor’s Mansion, what a journey this has been! ❤️

There is something truly special about sharing Louisiana’s rich culinary traditions, especially in a setting that celebrates the state we love so much. And seeing Captain Coby do what he loves, bringing people together through good food, makes it even sweeter!

We are incredibly grateful to Governor Landry, First Lady Sharon Landry, and their team for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to be part of such a memorable evening.

A special thank-you to everyone who helped make the evening a success. It takes a team to bring a meal like this together!

We never know where this journey will take us next, but we are enjoying every minute of it!

Today, Captaincobycajuncooking came to the Mansion to cook for the Governor & First Lady. He starred on the Great American Recipe on PBS competing against home cooks from regions across the U.S.

We are biased but we think the guy from Louisiana was the best! 😉💪

And now… FINALLY HOME! 🏡❤️

We’re exhausted, grateful, and excited about what’s ahead. If the Good Lord is willing, there are lots of good things coming in 2027 for Captain Coby Cajun Cooking! 🙏⚜️

A lot of work, a lot of miles, and a whole lot to be thankful for. It sure feels good to be home! 💙

Driving home from Colorado Springs and decided to stop by Fresh by Brookshire’s in Tyler, Texas, to check on our products.

And look what we found! 👀⚜️

Captain Coby’s right there on display at the fresh seafood counter! 🦐🐟 What a cool surprise to see our seasoning featured front and center.

Today was even better than yesterday! ❤️

Our seafood gumbo was the talk of the park, and y’all showed UP! We ran out of rice THREE times - and each time, people stood in line in the heat waiting patiently for their bowl of gumbo. 🥹🥣

We are so incredibly happy that we were able to feed about 600 people today! Seeing everyone enjoying our gumbo made every bit of the hard work worth it.

Great first day! 🙌🏼 The weather was beautiful - just a lil warmer than we had hoped for. ☀️😅

The crowd showed up HUNGRY, and they ate! We served until our pot was completely EMPTY in less than 30 minutes! 😳🔥 One lady even scraped the last pan clean - we’re talking NOTHING LEFT! 😂🙌🏼

What a way to kick off the weekend! ❤️
